whenever you sign in or register first time any webportal you have to enter necessary information and them you have to tick term and condition. my question is that whether do you read or how many we read terms and conditions of these websites before ticking it? not for web even so many of us do not read terms and conditions of banks etc.

yes. I also do not read fully all the terms and conditions. Only understanding is that they are not going to introduce new rules for us. What is there for others is there for us also. that is all.
But it is advisable to read all the conditions before signing so that we have not have any grouse later on.

Me neither. I'd probably read them if they weren't so freaking long, but it'd probably take an hour to get through all of it and understand it! Plus, there's always these weird fine print details that are really hard to understand. I'm not sure if it's worth spending the time to read it, especially for sites or products that you have to use. It's not like you can change the conditions after reading them anyways!

Hi,
Five years back when I first joined a few online earnings sites and when I joined Paypal, I went through the terms and conditions. After that, I never read it. My first trial was a gaming site and I had the fear that the site may claim for money or will I ever be trapped. Those were the days when I was afraid of using the internet as I happened to hear about the scams and some fraudulent activities.

Indeed I do, because it does seem to be the advisable thing to do. Of course, as we look at the terms and conditions, some of them are rather fascinating to read. I think that any website that is worthwhile is rather going to put their terms and conditions in a concise and easy to read for the average user manner, because they hope that the users will read them.
Interestingly enough, for other websites, it is almost like they don't expect there users to read the terms and conditions. It is just one of those things where I think they know. They know that only about ten percent of the people who sign up for any given website will read the terms and conditions. So they don't make any effort to make them understandable. I don't know whether that's smarter or dumber.

Join any site without read their "term and condition" is dangerous thing to do. But unfortunately a lot people forget or ignore it.
If we join particular site we expect something, right?
If something went wrong with our account or the site just a scam because we not read "term and condition", who should be blamed ? OUR SELF.
Well ... based in this condition, I always read them before joining (even sometimes I only read general term .... hehehehe)

When it's a safe website, where I don't lose anything, I don't bother reading the terms and conditions: these I apply for websites that I log in to like game websites, forums and blogsites.
Although, for serious business stuff like banks or whatever that involves money, I read the terms and conditions as thoroughly as I can.

I always read it carefully - especially in a website which offer earning program. I will check carefully about the eligibility of that program, read about what to do and what not to do, and also their special condition. I read it for my own good sake, really..

Hahahha...generally I not read any terms and conditions because I have no account other than gmail or mylot and I read the mylot terms and not read the gmail terms because know gmail is free for signup. But this is good habit to read the terms and conditions if you are signing in any news sites specially if you are not familiar with it.

What you found is really a fact. Many people (including me) don't read terms and conditions. As everybody knows, the terms and conditions is always long enough that we don't like to read it. At the same time, the terms and conditions is not easy to understand. Only with some related knowledge can we understand it.
Incompatible,isn't it?
