I'm underweight, and I really need to gain weight. what should I do so I can reach my proper weight and gain muscle. My height is 6'5", and I weight 110 lb.... Because of my underweight problem I have a health problem such as ; dizziness , and I have low blood pressure so most of them time I feel drowsy and nausea. I have been doing some research from the internet but they all suggested that I eat more, while I can' force myself to eat a lot or stuffed my self with lots of food. If anyone happen to have the same problem like me and know the solution I would really appreciate it.. Thank you...

Welcome to MyLot!
I really can't help you on this problem since I have a similar problem. I'm trying for two months now to gain weight, I eat everything I can and stuff myself with everything that comes in my hand but I just can't seem to move away with my weight, every morning when I weight myself it's always the similar number on the scale..
It really annoys me since I need to gain weight and I just can't and I'm all skinny which is really not a good thing..
Maybe if I just continue eating more and more, a lot of carbon fibre food and proteins then I'll get more weight..If anything happens and I gain weight I'll tell you how I did it..
Enjoy!

I have gained 5 kg yet I'm still underweight. My recommendation would be, have a SMALL FREQUENT MEAL. Be a stress-eater, exercise. eat with a large group, have Vitamins supplement (ZINC is known as an APPETITE ENHANCER, which I learned when I was in Nursing school). I also want to gain more though we're similar that I can't force myself to eat beyond my usual meal.

Go and consult the doctor if you need more information than the internet may give. All vitamins are good and the health care provider can give you enough vitamins you needed the dosage and the amount. All the vitamins and the medicine our peeps here suggest are good and they have it by experience but the experts are there to give what is the proper medicines that will fit for you even the dosage you needed everyday. List now all your questions and talk to the health care provider for further knowledge for the do's and don'ts that you need to do each day. All from it your dedication and commitment is important for you to gain the weight that your body needed and for the BMI fits for your age, and height.

Hi friend! My boy friend is at the same situation with you, I push him to eat a lot, and he really did. But still nothing happen. Later I think that maybe there's a kind of person which is difficult to gain weight no matter how much they eat. So I choose to accept.

The quickest way I can think of to gain wait would be to eat more fatty foods. Try adding chips, sweets, and soda to your diet and I guarantee you will gain some major weight in a big hurry. You don't even have to eat a lot of them, just try having a bowl of ice cream or some potato chips before you go to bed and drink more soda. This is definitely not the healthiest way to gain weight, but if you need to gain weight quickly, that's how to do it. And furthermore, have more meals, spread them out through the day. If you have breakfast before 8 am, eat again at 11 am and then 1 pm, then have a snack around 4 pm if you have dinner after 6 pm. I have low blood sugar, so if I don't eat a lot of small meals throughout the day, I get nauseous and dizzy as well, so I definitely know where you're coming from on that note.

i also was going to suggest iron supplement, as i get dizzy when my iron is running really low. also maybe see a doctor to get your sugar levels tested.
my friend is on body building formula as he has a fast metabolism (think thats how u spell it) and its the only way he seem to keep the weight he is or even put weight on. As he has tried different diets and things people have suggested.

you have to take ferrous sulfate(iron) for your low blood pressure.eat more vegetables and fruits, protein like fish, beef or any meat products.beef is one of the rich-source of protein.ascorbic acid or vitamin C for your immune system and to prevent you from any diseases.Hope this will help.
