IS there clear-cut demarcation line between Chinese territory water and South Korea territory water. As far as I know, there are disputed waters both claim to be part of their territory. It is not right to enter into others territory water to fish, but this do not justify police's brutality.Chinese fishmen are all unarmed civilians. It is hard to imagine they would seek to attack korean coastal guards equiped with all sorts of lethal weapons.

Up to now the truth is still not clear to us yet. Did the Chinese crew stab the Korean maritime policeman actively when the police boarded the ship? or did he defend himself by stabing the policeman after he was hit by the policeman? In the view of South Korea, the maritime police has the power to check Chinese fishing ship in its exclusive economic zone. But Chinese fishermen feel that they enter Korean waters just for a living, because there are few fishes in Chinese waters. Punishing "illegal fishing" blindly is not an effective way to solve the problem thoroughly. The governments of both countries should negotiate this problem with each other frankly without the influence of domestic medias.
