i am about three months pregnant and i can't wait until the baby gets here. i know it will be hard work, but i am sure it will be rewarding. i love babies and it is just the coolest thing to have one of my own that is a product of me and my husband. is anybody else out there expecting? how do you feel about it?

Hello Birdie, Congrats in advance! Yes its great to see your own kid.I know it as my wife was also that much elated when she was pregnant. There were lot of curiousity to see the kids.I and my wife were impatient as 9 months are too long to see your own baby.At last we had twins a boy and girl and at present they are 3 years old and are so naughty.Whenever i see them i feel that they are most precious gift God has given me.

Yeah there is really nothing to worry about. I can understand that you are talking about health issues or medical issues. You know all these are so common now-days in all the semesters. Give your best and stay clam

yeah you are probably right. if something were to go wrong, modern medicine would be able to detect it early and probably fix it right away. they have so many prenatal tests these days to eliminate problems

I am expecting my 4th child in April and I am super excited and scared LOL Kids are a lot of work and having 4 is definitely going to be a challenge BUT it is all worth it. I wouldn't want my life to be any other way. I love all my kids and I will love the new baby when he/she arrives. No matter how tough it gets remember it always gets better. and don't ever be afraid to ask for help if you need it. oh BTW I am 24 weeks today.

Congratulations! It's really exciting that you're expecting. I can certainly relate as I gave birth to my first child, a little girl, three weeks ago. It's a really great feeling to have. I've enjoyed every moment of it.

My youngest is actually five years old now and my oldest is nine years old, but I definitely still remember how excited I was when I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter. However, I also have to admit that I was apprehensive as well because of the fact that before I was pregnant with my daughter I had experienced a miscarriage. However, my pregnancy with my daughter went beautifully, except for the fact that she was born several weeks early. It was the most rewarding feeling that I've ever experienced when she was placed in my arms for the first time.

aw..i am sorry you had to experience a miscarriage. sometimes i am still afraid that i might have one, but all the doctors and stuff say that the chances are reduced once you reach the second trimester so i am trying to relax. and i am really glad that your children are healthy :)

I'm definitely not expecting, and won't be for quite awhile, but I love babies, and I honestly can't wait to look into the eyes of a beautiful miracle that's all mine, and know that all I want is to do right by that child, to raise it properly, to take care of it, to watch it grow up, and to help it on it's way. I've been taking care of babies practically since I was one because I have 7 siblings, and I'm the oldest, so I've always played "mini mommy", I was the second best thing to mom to all the kids, but I'm completely adamant that having your own child isn't quite the same as babysitting or having lots of siblings. Good luck with the baby and the 3 am feedings, I hope you're as happy about the baby when it's 6 months old and teething as you are now.

well sapphire, the only real diret experience i have with babies is babysitting too and that was only for a limited time, but i still think i can handle the responsibility. the responsibility will actually be fun for me in a way because i love any opportunity that i can take to mature further. it will be interesting to see how me and my hubby will be as parents...hopefully all goes well

and wulania, i am excited for you and your wife. although if your wife is like most women, she isn't felling so good right now on account of the morning sickness and whatnot, but just be sure to remind her that the rough part will pass soon enough. and by the way, my due date is supposed to be in june

I too ,was so excited when i was infanticipating, 21 years ago. My husband was even more excited. He keeps on putting his ears on my tummy at night when we come home from work. He is so attentive to all my needs. I think, when we really are prepared to have a baby, we will really be so excited!

thank you! :) that is my plan. i don't see how i could not teach it how to love because i already love it so much (even though i have no idea if it is a boy or a girl yet). but it will have me to use as an example on how to love...and also my husband :)

Congrats in advance. It really hard to carry a child as I saw it with my sister but rewarding and fulfilling in the end.Just be careful and eat healthy foods. Being a mother is the most difficult job in the world. I love my mom very much.

hibirdie good for you congratulatons but really a lot of baby care is far from cool like baby spit up on your shoulder, the unending demand for clean diapers etc but I loved the feeling of carrying a baby and am now proud to be the elderly mom of my 53 year old son. It will be rewarding but cool is not the right word. if you really love babies you will do well but if its just being cool to be one of your group that is pregnant you will have some times when you do not think its so cool. lol lol lol

lol yeah i am trying to mentally prepare myself for this. i know it will be a huge responsibility but i am trying not to freak out about it too much. if i worr too much i won't do well. but if i just stay calm, then everything will be fine. but you are right. i guess cool really isn't the word lol. i have seen friends babies spit up and pee on them...it was funny then, but when it happens to me it won't be so funny lol..

Expectiing a Baby - The Fruit of Her Womb
Psalm 127:3 says "Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." This means you have now one inheritance from God and you have that in your womb at the moment and after 6 months more your happiness will be even more! Congratulations! That baby in your womb is really a thing to get excited about! It's a big, blessing and your big, big bundle of joy! I'm happy for you. I am sure this little angel of yours will furthermore strengthen the bond that holds your marriage. I know many friends of mine who are also expecting a baby like you and just like you they are just as excited. I pray you and your baby will be always be fine. Just take care!
