170$ for writing tutorial

guys, today i've got job making tutorial book for my robotic club. i've got salary 170$ for this book. i just want to know, is this to cheap or expensive?

It would be depend on how hard you will work later..
How much pages do you need to write? When is the deadline? Is it practical or theoretical? Do you need to learn and write something by yourself or you just need to copy-paste and translate content from another source(s)? :p
I know a little about robotic - as I ever took the course and also be friend with some robotic club guys in my campus. I don't know, it's just my presumption, but I think $170 for that kind of book would be just fine.. :P

first boss i a boss from my branch office, and the second one is my boss in the central office. actually i am not say to the first one that i promote this for the second one.. LOL.. there is no agreement for this, so there is not break the law or something. this is still my copyright.

Then, it's simply a good amount of money, as you already wrote the most of that book, and only meed to add some exercises.. :)
But anyway, don't your first boss be mad at you because you sell your book to another person, anyway? Don't you have any agreement with your first boss about not to sell that book to any other person?
Well, in few cases, there might be that such agreement.. But if there's none, then, again, I think it would be a good amount of money..

Is that online job or offline job. $170 offline job is quite big because you are in indonesia. But if that online it must be more than that $200 do you agree with that

i think it stoo cheap if you work for a company, even it is a small comapny. as a comparison, in my school, we have robotic extracurricular. for a semester we have 10 session. per student pays 800.000 rupiah, or about 90 dollars per meetin. and we have two or three groups. per groups we have about 8 students. it means per single meeting we pay almost 700.000 or about 60 dollars. 170 dollras only worths 3 meeting. and that is just from one school. just imagin if they have 5 school to teach, how much money they get.
