I Laughed My Head Off...this Movie is TOO Funny!

I went to the movies to see "Jack and Jill" with Adam Sandler, Katie Holmes and Al Pacino (yes, that Al Pacino!). I laughed so much, I cried.
This is not a movie I had planned to see but some kids I was watching for friends wanted to see it and their parents said to take them. It is not nearly as crude as most of his movies and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Has anyone else seen it yet? What did you think about Mr. Pacino's character? Did you Bust-a-Gut?

oo its out in cinemas already?? didnt know that..will definitely watch..i lve adam sandler..and i wanna see hows Al pacino doin in a comedy with adam...should be great..im sure..
i just watched "Just go with it" few weeks ago on bluray..was funny too..

Hi roberten, No I have not seen that movie...But just the
way you talked about how much it made you laugh and how
much you enjoyed it, I surely intend to see it...
I love comedy movies..and shows...anything with good humor.
Glad you had a great time and enjoyed the movie...A good
laugh is good for the soul....

You are so right, bjc66bjc. I was there to help friends prevent their children avoid witnessing an event that the parents felt was inappropriate for the kids to see; this movie was just the ticket to get my mind off more serious issues. I am proud to report that all went well on all fronts; things went well for the parents, the kids and I had a a million bend-over-backwards laughs. All is well that ends well. Jack and Jill was excellent escape. I do hope you enjoy it as well as I did.

Are you guys serious? That movie got a rating of 2.8/10 on imdb, and it has reviews that have headlines like, "Sandler put the "F U" in Failure." and "Terrible, the trailer is the highlights", and "Deserves to be Erased from History", and "Officially the worst film of the year", and, "Sandler's House of Stupid", and "Loud, Stupid and flatulent"...
I'm not going to see this movie... in fact, you'd really have to pay me to see this movie... no thanks.
I'm even kind of offended that so many people on these boards liked this movie... how much do you people even know movies?

Funny is subjective, I respect the fact that you are not open to seeing this movie. I am also very sorry that you are "kind of offended" that others may actually like this movie that, I suppose, you will not ever see. Opinions are the spice of life and it is appreciated that you shared yours so frankly.

My parents went to see it and said that they really did not see the humor in it. They have enjoyed Adam Sandler movies in the past, but that this one felt like it was trying too hard. I have not had time to see it yet, but doubt I will see it before it makes it to Netflix.

This film was not typical for an Adam Sandler film. It was not overly explicit and had a very mainstream morale. If you are looking for the super wild and crazy movie, this isn't the film to see; if you love happy endings with kind of an Ozzy and Harriet feel, this movie is for you. The entire movie house was in stitches while we watched the show, I had an AWESOMELY good time. I am sure, like any movie, this film will not be for everyone, but for me it was Great!

hello there. i am a movie goer too. i have not seen this latest movie yet and i am planning to watch it after reading your post.i love comedy films especially if the plot will give children a moral lesson in return. and it is adam sandler.i am one of his loyal fans.

I do hope you enjoy "Jack and Jill" as much as I did, rencarl. Adam Sandler did a great job with this movie; it is silly and makes you laugh while making you think about the consequences of your actions plus the importance of family and personal relationships. I was pleasantly surprised while being thoroughly entertained while watching the movie. Great movie.

i haven't seen this movie yet but i can imagine and i'm sure it is so funny and i could laugh too if i did..i love adam sandler..i know how funny he is and i've seen some of his movies i truly enjoyed most of it...i would love to see it sometime..

I watched the trailer of this movie and I think movie will surely a hit and a comedy riot.I do plan to watch it and I know it is a great way to relax for awhile and enjoy.

Oh,weige27, I absolutely love foreign films, especially oriental films. I lived in the orient for nearly three years and got hooked on the film industry there. I think you will love "Jack and Jill", it too is a very funny film. These days you have to grab a little happiness any desent place you can find it. Hope you have as many laughs as I did.

I saw the previews for "Jack and Jill" and I really want to see it! Adam Sandler is a great actor, I love most of his movies. I will definitely be going to the show to see this one!
