I'm not what's called a "muser" but I love this band. They're one of the best live. Any followers?

A friend of mine played cello on their 2001 album "Origin of Symmetry," so I am familiar with that one. I am less familiar with their other work aside from "Time is Running Out" and their version of "House of the Rising Sun" back when I did a research study on that song. I am hoping to explore them a little more but my time is very limited at the moment. Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm able to.

Wow, what an opportunity to be able to play on that album. If you get a chance, check out some covers done orchestrally. These are the only covers I condone and I was very impressed. {not sure if I'm allowed to provide the links so look them up;)}

Thanks for the recommendation! I have never been a huge fan of covers, however, I usually end up enjoying orchestral ones as they often manage to give the song give the song a new life without going the electronica route. The pieces you allude to, therefore, sound interesting! I will look them up. PS. As far as I know, links to songs are allowed! Welcome to MyLot!

Hysteria is a great song! That album "Absolution" is actually what turned me on to them.
