Love hurts. Who ever said love doesn't hurts has never loved. The bible supports it in corinthians.

I think everyone has more or less selfish passions attached with love. Any damage, loss occurred to our loved one or sharing of love by our loved one equally or more with others, all bring severe pain to anyone. But anything in the above said incidents occur to most of the love connections. I feel love has an invisible link with hurts of heart.

It is a dangerous thing. Yes. When people are young --teen age or in twenties -- their ...for a person of other gender--has no reasoning and nobody can correct or rectify that also. As one grows older love for spouse, children again creates problems -- we impose our views on them--we become sick when they are sick. I recommend detached love to things, people, places, experiences. hope I am clear.

I think if you love, you don' care if it hurts or not, because when you see the person you love happy, you will feel the same way too even if it hurts you. And giving love and not expecting anything in return is called unconditional love, and that kind of love is pure and priceless.

Hi nezavisima! In my opinion, I think it depends on the people who are in a relationship. You know, there's no perfect things in this world. And I do believe that when you do get hurt because of your love for a certain person, then that only means that you'll be happier in the next turn of tables. I am in love with someone, and despite being happy and all, still, we can't avoid to hurt each other(though not in any physical way of course) because there are things that are not common with the two of us and we both have to talk about it, try to look for a solution then adjust to the situation and everything will be alright after that. It's just a matter of trying to work things out if you really want it to work. So, don't be afraid to get hurt because of love. It's the greatest thing that could happen to anyone.

I guess love sometimes hurts..but it shouldn't be as often, that hurt can make you stronger. by the time you got hurt by someone you will realize that some things should be change to be able to avoid hurting again. if you feel you've been hurt a lot think first the reason why, if it cannot change then maybe that love wasn't really for you.. so balance everything..

I think love always hurts, because when you love someone, really love someone it puts you in a state of total want and then all of a sudden you think everyone else in the world wants the person you love, that is just what happens, love puts in a vonerable state.

I'll have to quote one of Avril Lavigne's song here. "Love hurts, whether its right or wrong". Love is not always happy and giddy...it does have its other side as well. And when your in love, you tend to make sacrifices which can lead to hurting. Also, your involve with another person...and trust me, not all the time you guys would understand each other. So comes the fights and argument. So..its just normal that you get hurt.
