There were days when we have the real love of relatives but these days many families are being attacked in the form of enemies only for the sake of money and other issues.
But friends are more helpful than relatives these days.

No matter what happens, our family are always there for us despite of any circumstances that we've through with them. It is very normal to every family that we will experience family-trouble but we will always get through them because of one thing called Love. As we know, Love always conquers all even the multitudes of painful experiences we may have been.

Unfortunately, that is not the case in every family - many families are not there for each other or at least certain family members are not there for certain other family members. It would be nice if it really did work like you said, but the reality is that it does not work that way.

It depends but I personally will rely on my close friend.A close friend is what you earn.You make some one your close friend after trying them in different situations.But you dont have choices in relatives sometimes you have to bear your relatives you dont even want.Thats my own thinking.
It varies in every person life.

I agree with you and happy to know that you have a genuine friend on whom you rely - yes some friends are so nice that we can share even our personal matters...
I totally agree with your thoughts on relatives.....I came across several situations an found friends to be the more reliable one than relatives....as you say it varies from person to person...

i rely on family members. i think they are considered to be relatives. they are the ones who understand my situation and readily help me when i need a help. i know my friends are always there. and i can rely on them too. but my family does not fail me, especially in difficult times.

Yes,you are right....and that is also true because they are the most nearest one in this vast world and take every option of yours is taken on priority basis and they extend the needful help.
And friends of course I don,t deny there are really good friends and if you have such set up of them I feel you are the luckiest one...

I think that it depends upon the situation, the person, and what your definition of "family" is. I have friends that I consider my family, so I would definitely rely on them if I had a problem or needed help and would hope that they would do the same with me. On the other hand, there are people that I am related to by blood, but I do not consider them family and would not rely on them for anything nor would I go out of my way to help them.

I think that there are just going to be a lot of times where I can rely on one or the other. Or at least that is going to be the idea. There are just going to be many times where I feel that there are friends and family and they are going to be in fact be for me, when I need a little bit of help, a hand when I really need it, if I do in fact need it.
Of course, I think as many of us do, we come to the realization that there are times where family and friends might not be as on our side as we would really like them to be. There are going to be times where they might have their own agenda. However, also they are going to have their own problems, and it is going to be a bit agitating, rather frustrating but that is just the nature of life. Sometimes we just have to rely on ourselves, as it necessitates.

I consider myself fortunate to have some people who I know I could always rely to. These people are my immediate family members - my parents and my twin sister. I don't want to rely on my relatives as some of them have already exploited us in some ways. Well, some of my friends are also reliable, but I wouldn't like to turn to them all the time especially with regards to financial matters.
