People have no patience now a days

I find people around me having no patience at all. Whether at Metro Rail, where people just push back from behind or in every place, they just want to go faster and faster. I laughed one day, while I was just getting down from a train, and believe that was the end station, people were pushing me from behind. I just gave them place to get down and waited till all of them got down from the train. I thought they may be going for Parliament meeting and time is so important for them, that they can't wait for even a single minute, forgetting that accident may occur at any moment. But amazingly, when I got down from the train at the end, I found they were still standing infront of the gate with their bag and baggage and arguing with the coolie for a small amout of money.
In my lot also I find people do not even bother to participate in the old discussion and carry on with the latest topics. That's why almost all topics have eight to ten responses. Is not it an impatience? Be it on road, bank, post office or in a cinema hall, the people I find have no patience at all. When any accident takes place on the road, people just passed by. They have no time at all, rather I can say impatience.

As a result, people suffer in their family life as they have little tolerance towards anything and react spontaneously. So, lot of argument also takes place which I find not only in the street but also inside every house.

I think a lot of people are very self-absorbed and expect instant gratification and live life at too fast a pace (but none of them can explain why they are like this!).
Perhaps it is a world where communication and consumerism are so instant and this causes a lack of empathy. If we grow our own vegetables we appreciate it when we buy them because we can understand the work the grower put into them. If we only ever buy vegetables we don't appreciate it and take things for granted. This example can apply to many aspects of life, people don't know how to put themselves into the shoes of others and only think of themselves. It is a sad world we live in at times.

Good response and I would like to draw further. A lot of disputes, argument and other awkward incidents could be averted if people have little patience and had they listened each other. They just move on without any goal.

Speaking of patience and people who cannot wait for anything. There were some interesting experiments on self-control, patience and the ability to wait for something done some time ago. What is interesting is that the children who had self-control became successful in later life, the ones who didn't often got into problems. Have a read about it.

Now a days I find impatience among childrens also. As a result, they are much more argumentive and do not obey the parents. They just want to get everything in one day. If you ridicule, they react immediately and become violent.
