I have this friend that I really trust for 5 years now. Just recently I am in need of a better internet provider. Fortunately she became an account executive for network that offers an internet service and she offered me her product. She allow me to test the product by providing me the modem for 1 week and during those times I constantly communicated with her to report if I have problems and providing her the data she needs for the modem. After that week I arranged a meet up with her to submit all the documents required to finally subscribe with their product not knowing that she as an account executive needs to double check how far my location was from the cell site. She even promised me that since I'm using a pre-activated account my internet speed will go higher than what I'm getting as a trial. 2 days after I've seen her I was wondering why I'm still getting the same trial speed so I asked her and she said that I need to call the customer hotline and I did. After dealing with 2 very helpful agents I was shocked that I was too far from the cell site and there is no way that I can get atleast 75% of the speed that I should get. To have an idea I am only getting 20-25% internet speed against what I subscribed and I asked her why didn't she check my location. I trusted her so much and only if she checked everything I wouldn't be left helpless. Aside from that as much as I wanted to keep her as a friend because of this I cannot trust her. It was obvious that she just want to get sales out of me and she put the friendship at stake. I don't know if I should talk to her and just forget everything since after that she never apologize or even call me back.
