Feeding Program

In our local area there are a lots of Non government organizations that voluntarily implemented their voluntary programs in feeding program in coordination with local christian churches. This program is geared towards improvements of health of children and battling malnutrition problem and poverty as well. But I as observed this is just a temporary solution and not for a longer term. What can you say about this program on feeding? Does it really justify the purpose?
