Me personally I would lock myself in my room and play video games. There's some satisfaction in shooting a zombie in the face. But as I get older this doesn't help. As soon as I put down the controller they ever lingering stress of life kicks in again.
So how do you deal with stress? What steps do you take to get ride of it?

I just take a deep breath first of all. That tends to give me something else to focus on other than the situation that is causing stress. There are going to be a lot of times where that really does bring me back down and try and focus on dealing with the situation. Of course, a lot of the times that only is a temporary fix to say the least.
I tend to write in many situations but there are times where writing, venting as I write, helps me calm my nerves, burn through a level of stress. There is just something about writing that is very liberating and something that just brings a smile right to my face. Also a nice soak in the bathtub allows me to unwind and relax. Relaxing in any way is a wonder to relieve stress. Of course, they might only be temporary measures, but it gives us time to calm down and figure out what we need to do.

Well,i feel it is a little hard to deal with stress. I mean nothing can help a lot when you are at stress. When i am in stress. I don't want to do anything. Most time i would surf on the net and just kill time. Sometimes i try to read some positive stories and news to try to keep in high spirit. But always failed. Well, i think only time can cure the stress. Because after some days, my mood will change into good.
