Slow internet speed! I would go crazy, I would slam on the face the person in charge who manage the broken snail speed internet! Can't anyone living in this residential district accuse the terrible service here? It was said to be monopoly by a rubbishy company which was composed by several people... Here are about 15 buildings in this district, each with 24th floor, so a great number of people living here and everyone needs to get access to internet, what service are they using now? I've called the real estate company for this subdistrict and invariably there answer was "no, we've only got this 2B company for this district". What about other companies that prove to offer very effective speed? "There's no chance!" Finally I heard that the real estate company had received 100,000 RMB from the 2B internet company and the real estate company promised to never introduce other internet companies. How ridiculous! How can the residents live here? We pay a great lot of money each month for the internet yet we can't even open a webpage, not to mention watch videos, there's no way! Then I had to check other residents and I got the answer:" we're using wireless internet now. The rubbish 2B company? Never use it!" Thus I have to purchase the wireless internet connection and pay again, but the money I paid for the 2B company for 6 month can't be got back...

Slow Internet connections are rather bad for sure. In this day and age more so than ever before. Granted, there are going to be a time that what is slow today, was rather fast, but still slow Internet connections are going to slowly drive you up a wall. Especially when you're going to rather pay for something that is rather going to be much better. Also incompetent Internet companies who can't seem to answer simple inquiries. Obviously customer service is not what it was at another time. However, there are just going to be a lot of times where it just makes me want to bang my head against the wall. Yes, the Internet is not connecting, don't keep telling me to unplug the box because that's your solution to anything. Slow speeds and incompetent companies would be a deadly mixture as well.

Yes, both service and attitude are bad. Not only that their technology was frustrating, but that they're mean. For example, they use a 10M wire and ask hundreds of people to connect to this one wire, how can the speed be quick? Living in such a place, it's sad. I've considered moving to another subdistrict that enjoys better internet connection, but the room contract was signed for 1 year and if we don't live for 1 whole year, the guarantee deposit which was paid when signing the contract couldn't be returned to us...

The thing that would really drive me mad is when someone tries to wake me up either forcefully or gently. I hate it when my sleep gets disturbed because typically my whole day gets affected with my bad mood. I love sleeping and i don't actually care if the environment is cold or hot, I can sleep even if I'm sweating already. I just sleep like a pig. :D

Oh, That sounds a kind of corruption.Your real estate company should provide you people the best service or if they couldn't at least they should have left that on the people who are going to live in their apartments. In such cases one person can't do anything only if your whole society is together then they can allow other competitors too in the colony or society built by that real estate company. I can understand how annoying is this when you feel like cheated and cant do anything. You should thank to god that wireless signals are available in your area..if it was in the hand of estate companies they would have jammed the wireless signals too

I think people are leaving their responses just to the title of the post ie.Whats no.1 thing in life drives one crazy... I doubt users are reading the whole content of the topic.The user mentioned about his/her problem of slow internet connection provided by the real estate company where s/he living, s/he had no choice to change the service because it was already fixed and chosen by their real estate company. It is frustrating situation indeed.

Thats right we have to deal with corruption in daily life just like that..and we find ourselves helpless at times.Just like in your case It is clear they are not giving the same facility that they promised you people before any documentation...and the telecom company (Internet service provider)has also got their money from you people now they don't care and there is no competition for them that can bother them to keep their customers satisfied. That is why it is said that corruption doesnt work individually it works in a chain. Please try to make all your neighbors aware of this issue only then you can do something other wise just try to compromise with wireless connection and wait because sooner or later wireless plans will decrease because there must be competition.

wow what a horrendous story ! I wouldn't like to be you ! Some of the thing I hate the most in the world are for example, public transport because it's slow, deficient and expensive for what it offers. I hate religious people who always try to convince you to cling to the "right path" and cannot make their minds up that there can be people with different beliefs who can also be right. I hate those companies that multimillionaire companies that have made their fortune out of users and customers whom they offer bad and expensive services, but have no option but to continue feeding the circle, it's so unethical and mean.

I would like to comment but need to understand somethings first if they can be answered. Why pay for 6 months in advance? I pay per month. If it was a good deal as a discount, was there a way to check the service out first? Did the service change? Was it good at the first then it went down or was it always bad? I suspect that the wireless is not anymore expensive than the service in the building? As for internet speed in general I think the problem these days is the increase volume with video and movie downloads etc. that is taxing the systems?

dear bluedoll, i'm willing to answer all your questions. The price for 6 months is much lower than 1 month and almost all people purchase 6 months or a whole year. Also, there's no choice, you've only got this internet service company and I checked my neighourhood, they were all using this serivce. But since i was new, i didn't ask them the speed and until i find out how bad it is, it was late. Compared with the wire connection, the wireless one is still quite expensive. It will be 3 times of the wire connection. Whatever, i'll change to wireless tomorrow, that is Saturday. I've fed up with the slow speed, just like I'm submitting the replies here, i'm typing fast but needs to wait for half a min to submit it, and what's worse, it might turn out to be bad connection and all that i wrote gone, and i need to start all over again...

The very thing that make me mad is when I'm making myself starve because I constantly overwork myself infront of the computer, LoL. Well, my bad and a good lesson to learn for myself, before I go crazy, literally because of self-starvation. :-))

There are a few things that drive me crazy. 1. Not having any money when I have bills that need to be paid. 2. Slow internet. 2. Needing to fix my card. 3. People not knowing when to back off when I tell them that I need my space. 4. People trying to push and shove their religious views or any of their views on me. 5. People who think that they are always right. 6. People are try to pretend that they are perfect when they aren't. 7. People who are constantly making life miserable for other people. 8. People who create drama. 9. People who don't know when to back off when they are truly offending someone. 10. People who pretend to know everything when they really don't have a clue.

That is really frustration, I understood. I hate slow internet connection too, and I feel like that it won't worth the money I paid for them. You always have option whether to go with them or alternate your business with another one. Once again, the No. 1 thing drive me mad will be something I expected to happen, like the convenient check I deposited the day before, now I want cancel it, they said I can't, because they already sent out to the clearing house. But I don't know how long it will take the verification process to be done, maybe more than 1 month or longer. That is really tricky.

Yes, I know how you feel regarding snail speed internet connection. It is extremely frustrating to have to wait like forever for the webpage to load. You can forget about watching videos. You mentioned that you are unable to get back your money since you've already paid 6 months upfront. Are you sure there's nothing you can do about this? Any company that provide service must have a minimum standard as stipulated in the contract. You should read this contract's terms and conditions carefully. I'm sure it stipulates some agreed or guaranteed broadband speed which you subscribe to. Then go and check your broadband speed by going to speedtest.net website. If it doesn't meet the agreed speed then you as a consumer have every right to seek discourse. Make a formal complaint. Get as many residents to do the same if they are also having the same problem! You should be able to get a refund. Hope my comments help. Happy mylotting !

Not really mad, but it made me sad if the turnout of what I have planned for so long did not materialize or the adverse effect surfaced. But at the end of the day I will just shrugged by shoulder and say "Let's do this one more time." and smile.
