I've noticed that Cuties are being hawked everywhere around here. I see the ads in the newspaper and not only am I seeing them sold in grocery stores, but drug stores too. Cuties are the small, mandarin oranges. I found it weird that they were being sold in drug stores. Produce usually isn't sold anywhere around here other than a grocery store or supermarket. Have you guys seen any particular items/products being sold that are constantly in your face? Maybe you see them everywhere or at leat the advertising for them? And does anyone here eat Cuties?

I love cuties but haven't seen them for sale any place but the grocery store and they are very spendy. And they usually sell them in big lots that I can't handle being by myself. It would totally be a waste as I would have to throw about half of them out unless I gave them to other people.

jillhill...do tell a little more of them! I will find out tomorrow (big shopping trip to Metro Victoria)if they have made their way to Canada YET? Oft, we are way behind, in new trends! The name sounds intriguing..but are they a bit like "pomegranates" (my favourite) a LOT of work for a little bit of treat?

They are little oranges......and they are way tastier then a regular orange. Small and juicy....with a sweet taste. Not dry like the bigger ones.

Yes I've eaten them. I usually don't buy them because navel oranges are cheaper.

Navels are not near as sweet though I do believe. I prefer the large Texas Sweet myself, sweet as a cuttie but twice as large. And they peel easy too.

Me and my sister love cuties but I haven't eaten them since my sister's married and have to move out of the house. She's the one who does the groceries. :D I have nothing to do so I might as well share this site to you www.lifo.com. It lets you know about the latest Hollywood gossip and the trendiest fashion.
