You should consider buying used shoes regardless of the brand or the price of the shoes.
I remember that I once bought a pair of used shoes because I liked them because of the brand and especially the price. I wore them only about 1/2 a day and took them off because I felt my feet hurting a great deal. Upon looking at my feet, I saw that they had blisters (I mean VERY Painful Blisters). The shoes seemed to have some sort of fungus or something. The shoes looked like new.
I don't have lots of money, BUT I will NEVER buy used shoes Again, Would you?

i have bought used shoes with no problem. i have also been given used shoes and have had no problem. i visit thrift stores often but dont buy shoes just because i dont need any. i have been fortunate. i found a winter pair of shoes (new) marked down to $3 last summer and a summer pair of ballet flats this past october for $5 (also new). here in canada, more often than not, used shoes cost more!

Wow, that sounds interesting. I don't know why used shoes would cost more than new shoes there. I do not like to sell or give away my shoes after being worn. I would sure feel bad if some one thought that I had some foot infection (which is highly unlikely).
Thanks

Even though I've never had a bad experience like you did, I don't think I'd ever buy used shoes. People's feet sweat and they could have all sorts of fungus. I'd rather spend the money on new shoes that I know are clean.
