Is the new playstation worth the hype?

In my opinion, no. Although the Blu-Ray player is cheaper than if you buy one seperately, video game dvd players are notorious for their clunky operation. Also, there is a format war going on between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD and if Blu-Ray loses, sucks for you. Personally, I hope HD-DVD wins the format war.

my husband says it is because its aa $600 blue ray player...since those things go for a few thousand or so.
