Change the username

Hello fellow mylotters, i wanted to change the username for my mylot account. Is it possible to do it and if it is, the please tell me how to do it. Cheers! Have a good day and happy mylotting!

Did you read the FQ'S? Check this http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq5.aspx#7 Can I change my username? myLot does not allow users to change their usernames. Please be sure when you create your account that the username you pick is one that you want. Be careful not to make your username similar to your email address or password for security reasons. Actually they do allow it. So long as the user hasn't been banned from the site they can change their username as many times as they want (take PurplePeopleEater for example). They just have to make sure that they cancel their current account first.

Mylot doesn't allow us to change our username but if you really want to change it the only possible way I can think is to delete your current account and make a new account with the new username you want, but I don't think it's practical (unless you are so desperate to change username) because you lose all of your earnings in your current account if you do that.

yeah! i am desperate enough to change my username, but not so desperate that i will delete my account losing all the earnings! earnings also is not the point, the point is the stars and the benefits i get by being here around for a while that the newcomers never get. It is something like, smileys and the copy waste facility that i will get once i finish my 500 posts which i have still not got. I don't want to lose all this.

yeah beside the earnings those things are also important for a member especially the copy paste feature which is very useful if you like including links for reference

Yes, there is a way, but unfortunately it means deleting your current account. After that you can make a new account with the username you want...so long as it isn't already in use, that is. Happy mylotting!

i don't think so because in preferences box for username was freeze so you can't change username. if you still want to change you can pm admin for that.
