Hello friends,
I have a very poor eye sight. I don't find it comfortable or confident to walk out of my house without the glasses or the lens on. I am so fed up with these glasses and lens which i have been using for around 8 yrs now. I am now considering to take up the LASIK correction. But, i still feel that i don't want to take any risks with my eyes. I am not ready to compromise on my eye sight.
Does anyone of you know any natural curing for the eye sight. I have heard that yoga helps in curing eye sight too. But, i would like to know whether it is true. I mean, we all know that there is nothing that yoga cannot cure, it is pretty powerful. But, the point is, i have not met anyone who has directly benefitted by it in the case of eyes.
Please suggest me something. Or do you people think that i need to go on with the LASIK itself. I am very confused. All I want is that, i am so desperate to get rid off my glasses and lens from my eyes.
Regards.

Like you i have poor eyesight too. Having exposure to the computer for longer hours makes my eyesight blurry during the day. If i look at farthest object, people or words, i can't identify those clearly. I can't read clearly.
I am not wearing lens or reading glasses.
I eat fruits rich in vitamin A like watermelon, kiwi, guava and other fruits. I maintain it everyday. I also take eye supplement sometimes if i can afford.
I am still young but have this problem.

I haven't use any of these yet so i am not yet dependent on glass or lens. I can still see and read. I can still see and read clearly if the object is near from me. I have difficulty reading or recognizing something if it is far.
Until i can manage anything without this i tried not to use these.
Eating foods rich in vitamin a is still my way. I am still in my twenties so it is not a serious problem yet.
I don't know but if you use of having lens and glass time come you will be dependent on this because your eyes use to have this.

Well first of all when it comes to eyesight, this is something that is very important to one's health and something everyone needs to pay attention too. Do you have any Health factors that are not helping with the worsening of the sight? Have you had a recent eye exam and explained all of this? I know I was having a lot of issues a couple of yrs. back myself, and it ended up being Cataracts, and had to have Surgery and have not had to wear glasses since.
But the best thing is to find foods that help with eyesight, and make sure there is nothing interfering Health wise with your eyes as well.

First you can use vitamin A, B, C and E to protect your eyes specially when you are up to the computers for a very long hours in a day. You also need to be smart in choosing the right food to eat like whole grain and colored vegetables. Fish is also a good source of omega 3 fatty acid that can be best found in salmon, mackerel and sardines. But if you think your eye sight need more than just that then I recommend you to go to a doctor and have your check up. They are the expert and they really know exactly what to do or how to correct if there's something wrong with it.

I wear glasses and or contacts depending on my mood. Like you the idea of surgery makes me a bit nervous. I would go to the doctor and see if you can wear the extended use contacts. I hear they are nice.

Yes the best way to improve your eyesight is naturally. Use a lot of carrots and specially its juice. Walk bare foot on morning grass and try to see maximum greenery around you.

I am not a doctor so all I can tell you is a little story. All throughout my childhood my mother told me to eat fresh carrots every day for a better eyesight. I have never listened to her and now I wear glasses. I know that vitamin A is good for improving the vision, but I don't know if it works for everybody.

I had poor vision. Eating right and exercising didn't make any difference. I had Lasik done several years ago and have never regretted it. I have trouble believing there is a natural cure for bad eyesight. It's a well kept secret if there is!
