It could be that you are straining your eyes. When I read alot, especially on the computer, my eyes will twitch. Also, lack of sleep can cause it. Stress can also play a factor in twitches and drinking caffeine. I did some research online and it shows the following ways to help reduce the twitches: You need to get more sleep Drink less caffeine Put drops in your eyes to lubricate them Rest and get some relaxation It also says to try putting a warm compress over you eye lids and gently massaging them. It says that if the twitch has been there for 2-3 days you can try an over the counter eye drop that's an antihistamine and this will slow down the contractions. Hope this helps

Good! I'm glad that the twitch is either gone or just doing better! I hate having an eye that twitches. Mine do it quite frequently because I stay on the computer so much and I love to read LOL.

It usually indicates tiredness and stress of some kind. Rather than listening to old wives' tales and superstitions, think of it as a way your body has of telling you something about yourself. Make sure that you are getting enough sleep; identify and deal with any stress in your life. Remember that MOST stress can be dealt with and that there is 'good' stress and 'bad' stress. Good stress involves things which you can deal with, either on your own or with help; bad stress is caused by worrying about the stress itself and about things over which you can have no control. Try to let go of all of those things which you cannot control and deal only with the things which you can do now to help the situation. If somebody else can help you with solving a problem, don't be afraid to ask for help.
