I am living in a village with plenty of silence. When I go to the city for some matters, I have experienced uneasiness brought by continuous noisy conditions. Some of my friends living in city visited my home and told me I am fortunate to get such a silent and pleasant place to live. There is small forest near my home with river flowing behind it.

hi incredible, Yes I do have enough silence in my life...I am
home everyday alone after 2:30 and until 12:00 midnight...That
plenty of alone time...Its nothing like relaxing and really
realizing that its feeling great...I think we all deserve to
have some silience in their life...It called a "Mental Moment"and
we all need it..
I think you should try to make a little more time for yourself.
You will enjoy and your brain will thank you for the break..lol

Well, since you have a little one, I'm positive you'd be wanting that lol! Actually, for me anyways, I have too much silence every day. I live on a farm in the middle of no-wheres-ville, and I'm home-bound for the past 10 years, so I look forwards to noise (and people talking.) My grandson is 8, so I look forwards to all the excited noise he can provide. And when my other daughter comes up to visit with her 2, and they're all together, I definitely get my fill of noise!

I moved to town after spending much of my life in the country, and no, I don't have enough silence. The noise irritates me. Even in the night, I wake up and hear traffic. It's far away, but it's still traffic and I wonder, "Don't these people ever sleep??" I know there are deliveries to be made and things to be done, but on a motorcycle at 3 AM doesn't seem too necessary... maybe it is, I don't know.
