anybody taking USMLE??

I am planning on taking the usmle step 1 in late march or early April and I am finding it hard to get through so much info. Sometimes I wish I could do a different job other than medicine but I am not sure where to start in the US as I am originally from Australia, married just last year in the US which is the only reason why I came to live here. In any case I hope to make it through and get back into my medical profession again. Research work would be the other option I guess but I will need to make enough income so one day I can actually own a home and a proper car. Lol.
