Every year I can't wait for Christmas. It feels like a magic time for me. Since childhood I have enjoyed the Christmas tree, the presents, the food, the smell of bakes apples with honey and cinnamon, the meals with the family, the carols and the happiness on the faces of strangers this time of year. What are your Christmas traditions and what do you like most about this wonderful holiday?

I really love Christmas, I don't know I have this feeling of happiness deep inside. When I was just a little kid I love this season because I received a lot of gifts, toys, foods. The people were all merry. But now, I realize that what makes me happier during this time of the year is that Jesus was born because of us. The thought of Jesus in the manger, remind us of His simple life. We should be thankful to God above all than having a luxurious celebration during His birthday. I guess the spirit of giving is most important not only materially but also time, smile, forgiveness and gratitude!

I live in a tropical country and it is usually hot and humid throughout the year. The rainy season is usually between November to January. And so Christmas period is in a cool and comfortable period of the year. That is what I like about Christmas. As for the traditions, there is no tradition to speak of.

The lights and the gifts around the Christmas tree makes my day happy everyday even though It's only days before the birth of Jesus. It is so magical to see those bright lights and make me forget all my problems even just for a while.
