I use you take showers all the time and especially in the summer.
Nothing like a quick cool shower but for some reason I like taking
a long soaking warm bath during the winter...
About 4 years ago my daughter purchased me this portable jacuzzi that
you attach to the tub and occasionally I get myself magazine or a puzzle
book and just get lost for at least an hour in my bathroom..
My biggest issue with that is getting out of the tub..My back is
so bad I sometimes have an issue getting up and out...But its well
worth the alone time for me...
Whats your preference???

I take showers most of the time. It´s easy, quick and soothing. There´s something I like about the water hitting my body while I clean it. It´s a sort of massage and many times, when I have a backache, it helps with it. I don´t take baths in my tub, except for some occations, for the same reason you do. I have back surgery and getting out of the tub is difficult.

I have not even got anything wrong with my back, but sometimes I feel awkward getting out of the tub at home. I feel like I am going to slip or something. I think if I could lose some weight it would be easier and I would not worry so much. I do agree that sometimes a tub is just the best place to be, and then crawl into a nice warm bed. Heavenly.

Now tat I have been ill, I have problems to get in and out of the tub sothat when I came back from the hospital I waited until I could get someone to be at home to take a shower. Now I´m a lot better, so I am not afraid anymore.

I love a nice warm shower. I used to take baths but I have over the years gotten sort of freaked out on germs. When you think about it how really clean can you feel in a bath? Skin scales and soap doesn't rinse off completely and makes my skin itch. And I emjoy using the loofa on my body and getting my top layer of skin off. Can't do that in the tub!

Well celticeagle, its your opinion about how you feel takeing a
bath and I respect your opinion, But I do get clean when taking a
bath..and the skin scales that you spoke about ....huh...thats
why I am in the tub to be able to relax and get clean...The loofa would
does the same thing in a shower or tub...Howeever if skin scales is what
makes you think you are not clean, well, get up turn the shower on ...
I take a bath because thats what I want occassionaly like I said.
I understand you are freaked out over the germs but sorry I am not
that freaked out...enjoy your shower tonight,,,,

It depends on how much time I have in the morning, becoz I am in very hurry in morning to go office. Generally I take shower beside take bath in Jacuzzi.

I haven't had a bath in years! Because of spinal arthritis, I am unable to pick myself up to get out of the tub. But, I miss terribly the luxury of immersing my entire body in hot soapy water. I wish I could get that back. There is a special device (bath lifter) which would enable me to get out. But it costs $6,000!

I like showers more than I like baths. They are quick and they only take me a few minutes.

I mostly shower, because it is quicker, and it is easier to wash my long hair and get it clean. I have an advantage, though. I joined the Y and if I want to sit in a hot tub, or sauna, I go there. I think the shower just gets me cleaner all over.

Sometimes soaking in water for a long time has bad effects on our health. Its better to take a bath in a normal way to avoid consequences in the near future.

I like both. I've never experienced a jacuzzi or a tub bath. It's something I would like to try, before I die LOL
When I need to bath quick, I would go for the shower. For more relaxation, I would go for the tub bath and sleep there... read a book or something.
