I am the type of person that I don't want to use anyone elses pens. I keep a pen of my favorite kids everywhere I go just incase. To me I worry about germs too. I mean some people have colds and the pens are germ infested or some chew on their pens.
I prefer a medium point, medium sized pen. It like the tip size to be over 1cm. Thin pens just do not work for me. I have been buying my favorite pens for many years and get sad when I am down to one left lol.I will rush out to get a new set of them. I have experienced the issue of my pens not being made anymore or not sold in my local stores and I actually go upset and it took some time to find another type of pen that would satisfy my likings.

Well thats good. I hope it lasts a long time for you. I just a new set of four from Walgreens so I could have a purple pen lol..they are not that great. I've discovered I like the Medium point very much BUT only if it's with a semi thicker styled pen. If it's a tiny (skinny type) pen I can't use it a lot. It's to hard to write with fake nails and with my tendonitis.

Thats really weird cause I also used to have an obsession with pencils and pens when I was younger. I still am drawn to them and like to collect them. If I go to a store and I see a pen or pencil aile I want to look through them all and buy some lol. The desire was a lot stronger when I was younger. They had a pencil machine in elementary school with the schools logo on the pencil lol and I still have a punch of them. I literally have at least one droor full of pencils and pens. I have a huge collection from when I was young. It's good I write or otherwise they would go to waste.

lol..sound's just like me and now i'm into permanent marker pens and I love pens that come in colors. I used to have a color for everything! lol It's an expensive habit for sure but I use the type of pen that comes in a five pack for like six dollars so it works for me.

I used to be made fun of lol in a light hearted way by family members and friends about this obsession. maybe it started cause it was like a competition in elementary school to collect a certain kind of pencil that had gold lettering on it. there were rare one's that we all competed to buy in the pencil machine thing. I got one, one time and someone offered to pay like 4 bucks for it lol but I declined and I think I still have it around somewhere.

for me as long as the pen makes my handwriting nice and clean i will use that even if it is cheap or expensive one,but most of the time i always use cheap one because it always depend on the use on how to take care their pen for long last usage of it.

Hello, SandeeE! I have the same attitude with you but not because of germs. LOL I always wanted to use my pen because it's different from others. We were always provided free pens in school but I was not using them. I was using Pilot G-Tec C4 and C3. I have a very good handwritten and they appear so nice if I'm using these pens. But whenever I used those broader pointed pens, my handwritten seems bad. But now I am no longer using pens that much. I am more of computer jobs so no pen is required.
