Every day my parents would always listen to the current situation in our country through TV patrol or GMA news. But this past few months I noticed headlines regarding the attempt of former Pres. GMA to go abroad and seek for medical help due to her current health situation. Then the non-issuance of T.R.O. Next is the Hospital arrest of Arroyo due to electoral fraud together with prominent people in politics. Just recently the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Corona. Mr. Benigno Jr. is quite serious about arresting all crownies of former Pres GMA. What would be his next move this time? Getting Corona to jail? Then who is next?
I think the president should focus more on helping poor people get decent jobs or making them go to vocational schools for free to help them find a job. This would lessen snatchers, kidnappers and poor people in our country rather thank focus on getting people imprisoned.

The anti-corruption campaign of PNoy is a crucial part of making the country recover from poverty. You should read more news and if you did then you will find that the Philippine ranking internationally in terms of financial and investment viability has improved. The economy also improved based on released data.
Helping poor people is also the focus of PNoy's admin, which is why the CCT program was launched. You should also read more on that since I cannot educate you about that here in mylot.
You should not joyride on the rhetorics launched by Gloria Arroyo to save her and her associates from corruption charges mounting against her. You will not benefit from it, and you are already victimized even though you seemed to have not realized that.

Sorry if your are Pro-Pinoy but I am just writing my concerns here for the people. Honestly i did not vote for him to become a president because I don't believe in his capabilities. And if you are aware he could not even manage his own issue specifically about the Hacienda Luicita. Helping people is not the focus of his administration have you not heard or read in the news how he spoon fed the poor people with money? Giving them jobs is much better than giving this people money. If one has a job he could be secured. After his presidency were would this people go? And also have you not noticed the budget he has given for education was too small? I believe that it is our right to be granted the gift of education especially those who can not afford to do so. There are a lot of things that are President fails to see during his administration. I also am not Pro-GMA but hey let the LAW of KARMA govern her.

@rbjat4589: Honestly I think you are a misguided kid. I am not in any way a member of any active PNoy group or the Liberal Party. The point is he won the mandate of the Filipino people without cheating or without any doubt, therefore the majority of the people believes in his capability and his honesty as a leader. That is one fact that if you deny will probably cause you to end up a bitter person.
The fact is CCT is nor "spoonfed" help. That is another falsehood that you should learn. CCT means Conditional Cash Transfer, and many of those who benefitted from this help are the poorest of the poor, the ones that will end up doing the dirtiest and most ardous job on the streets and public places...And that is what is happening. They are obligated to do some jobs or tasks assigned to them before they get their benefits. Their kids are required to go to school and get good grades. That is why the word "CONDITIONAL" was included in the program. It is not for lazy people.
Of course fulltime jobs are much better...but in real world, how can the government generate jobs by itself to employ all these jobless which will require trillions of pesos? The jobs should be generated by private companies and businesses. The government cannot just greate imaginary jobs without profits.
But the fact also remains that the poorest of the poor, those living below poverty line, their children almost dying of hunger and deprivation...cannot afford to wait for private companies and businesses to generate jobs. They need help now, which is why CCT helps a lot.

I think you have elaborated it well greenpeas. I also did not vote for PNoy but I believe that he is also addressing the economic issues of our country in one way or another by rooting out the persons behind mass corruption and cheating. It would also be beneficial both to PNoy and the Filipinos if the economic upliftment programs of the government are given enough time in print and broadcast media and have it understood by the masses. Let us not be just good in seeing the shortcomings of the government, instead we should also focus on the improvements that are being undertaken. Why dwell too much on the negative sides when we can benefit from positives? Just my two cents :) Work hard fellow Filipinos.

The only thing that i am not really in favor of insofar as Penoy's acts are concerned is the impeachment of Corona. That is really unconstitutional. Other than that, he has my full support.

I'm also pissed with what's happening here in our country! The President of the Philippines, Mr.Benigno Aquino Jr. is really serious on punishing GMA. I really don't like what he is doing. Past is Past, he should think of a better way on how to improve our country's economy. How I wish that PNOY should stop what he is doing and focus for the current situation.

Yes he is and i think GMA should also be punished by his actions before. He should also think of thinking better ways to uplift our economy and get us out on extreme poverty. Let us just pray for our president and our country.

i hope our president also focus on the prices of food supplies and school supplies, and i he must also give priority on school tuition fees. Many of student here in our country stop on their studies because if lack of budget for school tuition. I also hope that he make a step to make the electrical bills go lower.

Yes I agree with you. We have the right to education especially those who could not afford to go to school. Education is beneficial to everyone since a lot of companies do not hire people who is not a graduate of high school or college. So what does this drop out students do? We could probably see them in the streets snatching or doing illegal things.

I hope the President will turn his attention on the corruption being done by a big and influential religious group with a government agency (Department of Transportation and Communication). This religious group which purports to be a model of holiness on national television is profiting from having their members in the agency and doing irregularities there.
There could be other agencies like the NBI where they thrive and profit from such agency's business.

Yes there a lot of things the President should consider doing. Even the issue about Hacienda Luicisita is still pending. He don't give a damn concern to those poor people who are victims of the cojuanco-aquino regime. Even though he promises of a corrupt free country he could not do so simply because even the tiniest branch of the government practices corruption. People are really used to corruption they only think of the gain and money they could get. So selfish.
