are you sure that warnet is still famous??
in my city, warnet lost their golden time..now the time for coffee shop with wifi and of course modem..
many people prefer to choose modem because they can surf internet from their home sweet home and can eat peanuts maybe..

Modem, of course. Internet connection is now very cheap, there's no reason to go to internet cafe anymore nowadays.
Besides, I can enjoy surfing the internet in the comfort of my own home

Yup, I use smartfren. It's cheap, only Rp. 100 thousands per month. No volume based limitation, definitely a true "unlimited connection" 
It's also quite fast. I like it so far.

yeah home sweet home..
you can relax play..
but now many coffe shop is designed like our home and we are comfortable when must surf internet more than 3 hours..
where is your office??
unfortunatelly in my office, no more wifi connection and it make me frustrated

even people use modem with cheap server, like flexy or three, but about speed connection. it still very different. i think cyber cafe (warnet) still can exist for people who like streaming with hi connection.

you right. in 2 year, that will happen. if computer price more cheap, and GSM or CDMA server more cheap too. who know. online earning more good.

I would pick both if they were free of charge
as long as it's free, thats fine with me.
but if I had to chose, I would love to stay at home and surf the net, but I use wifi not a modem, and this wifi connection is not our property but I can access to it 24/7

We don't have our own wifi connection here at home, or even a modem that has unlimited surfing, but there is a signal which my laptop can get, I have no idea from where this source is coming from as long as my laptop can recieve it and when I connect to it "BOOM" free wifi :) the connections name is "linksys" and I have seen this wifi connection in some places as well. like in airports and bus stations. It's very convenient actually

I have no preference as long as it's fast. Surfing at home doesn't mean i'm comfortable or happy with the speed of things, because my service provider, Singtel, is really bad in their internet upload/download speed. If i'm out using WIFI, speed is constrained by the number of people using in in the same area. Between WIFI and 3G, i prefer 3G since it's faster and i can use it anywhere, without having to stay in all day long.

i almost never go to internet cafe anymore since i ave modem. eventhough we have good internet connection in my school where i teache. i think internet cafe will not die if the give good service and offer more than just internet. if they just give it, people have by phone. we need something ew, nice looking, and better service and offer

i think many people change their style when there are modem..
many people is comfort to use modem than go to coffee shop or internet cafe
but for a people who think that go to internet cafe is not only go to or surf internet..it`s life style...a people need a place for gathering with their friend while surf internet, and the coffe shop plus wifi is the answer..
