Make meal times fun. Set the table and all sit down, make it a family time. Take the phone off the hook and put all the cell phones out of the room. Make dinner time family time to be look forward to, not a time to dread. What is your sons favorite meal? Stand him on a chair and get him to assist in preparation. Ask him to help you chose a meal. Take him shopping for the ingredients and get him to help prepare, even if its just standing on a chair overlooking it all, but at least let him stir, measure, watch prepare.
