As I have mentioned before my dog Irish Setter is very sick. He was diagnosed with bone cancer. His left front leg will be amputated on the wrist level next Monday. He got 60% chance that he will beat the cancer. As his front leg will be removed and this is quite big dog we think about prosthetic for him. I found one company but the prices are just crazy and I can't afford it at the moment but my partner and me want to build prosthetic. We have project and we know how to do it and how to make comfortable for my dog. So what you think myLotters. Would you build prosthetic for your beloved dog if he/she needed it?

Hello! You of the love dog got bone cancer, really unfortunate! To the dogs install artificial limb, such a thing is the first time I've heard that. I want to ask, so have the effect? My suggestion is that, had better not install artificial limb. Try to heal your love dogs. Because the viability of the dog is stronger.
I hope you love dogs recover soon!

My dog is not small sausage dog. He is Irish Setter. Quite huge one. I've seen many dogs with artificial limbs and they just do perfect. I asked vet and she said that this is good idea as my dog will have better life thanks to this prosthetic limb. This is fron leg not back leg so he needs to support body somehow. Thank you for your comment.
