I almost complete the New Philippine Peso Bill

That is a very nice gift! Any kind of money is nice, but when it is very clean, it is so pretty! I used a beautiful silvery coin as a golf marker. It sparkles so pretty in the sunshine.

I've been collecting the new bills as well and my collection is almost finished. The only issue I have with the new bills is that most people also collects it so its hard to get hold of any of those nowadays.

Congrats for completing it.I have been collecting and completing since the day it was released and almost have all the new bills except for the 500 one.The other bills are easy to get but still having a hard time to get the 500 one,maybe I could get it now this coming holidays cause the banks will surely release few of this.

That's cool..i have just started to collect some.My friend had 3 kinds of the new p1000 bill, it has the logos of some lawschools in the philippines, in there, beda, up, and i forgot the other, i think ateneo. Have you got other bills that have the logos of the law schools?

I don't have the high denomination (P1000 and P500) yet in my possession. I don't spend these new bills because I just like to see them in my wallet. I don't have a Christmas wish list this year because I will be spending Christmas just with my hubby and it will be just the two of us. I also don't have any parties to attend to since my siblings live abroad. I do hope to get a hold of the new bills before the end of the year though.

hi syoti20! glad that christmas came early for you. not really a big fan of the new philippine peso bills. i'm happy with the older bills. that's just me though. anyway, the new bills look like play money in my opinion so i'll most probably deal with these when the old ones are out of circulation already. lol! anyway, my mom collects bills as well. she collects bills from other countries but her most extensive collection is that of philippine peso bills. she collects old bills mostly but had her hand on the complete set of the new peso bills. honestly, i'm not that impressed with the new set of bills. her 'prized' possession is a Php2,000 bill featuring the former president joseph estrada. that bill was never circulated so it is a collector's item. i got one as well but i let her keep mine since she's the knowledgeable one about keeping these bills in mint condition. again, good for you that you got the gift that you wanted for this christmas. i haven't really thought about what i want for myself... nothing really pops to mind. anyway, i still have a week or so to think about it. cheers syoti!

Congratulations to you syoti20! I have never completed the new philippine peso bill we have right now. I have only handled the 20 pesos. The rest I haven't yet. Now, I would like to collect those new peso bill and don't use them.

Congratulation, it is really rare to get brand new bill that is so perfect. Happy holiday. Note: It means my collection of Peso bill will be old and become rare :)

What I only have right now are the 20s, 100s and 200s. Good that you are collecting them because they will also serve as your savings. The only downside that I can think is that you'll have a hard time parting from them once you need the extra cash. Have duplicates. I am planning to have my new bills in a frame once I complete them and have them displayed :)
