You have the answer in the second word tour post slstewar18.. I do not know you so I dont know what is going through your mind. But one thing I can say is whatever thoughts/ worries are in your mind just try to forget them and lay down with a peaceful mind.
This happens a lot to me too when I am tensed I keep thinking of stuff and lay awake for a while. So trying to have a clear mind has helped me and hope it will help you too.. So sleep tight :)

Thanks, I'm about to try the milk. I don't have any sleeping pills at the house right now. I was taking nyquil for a few nights to help me get to sleep but I ran out.

Maybe that's why infant sleep. I think of bad stuff. I will try the milk. Thanks for the help.

Hi there sistewart18, have a warm bath and drink a warm milk before you go to bed. This would help you relax and refreshing from a tired day at work or household chores. Its very tiring the whole day and this happens when we are about to sleep our mind is thinking a lot of things, from what happened the whole day and ofcourse we our thinking the things we will do the next day. This always happens most especially with a busy wife and mom that is very flexible and busy everyday.
Have time for yourself, relax.. Try to watch TV before going to sleep, have a light snack and pamper yourself like massaging your face. I hope this would help my dear, have a great day. Keep it up!

I also experienced a month ago, your mind doesn't want to sleep, because there is something in your mind....maybe you have a problem ? If so then solve your problem...for a while do not sleep during the day time, make yourself busy.....
If it does not work, Give suggestion to your mind and say "sleep" repeat that word continues until you are not aware....It's mean don't let your mind thinking everything. Or you can doing Yoga before you sleep
That's work for me !!!
