Christmas gift from a friend on Mylot

That is so nice! I am not too close with anyone on mylot. But who knows what the future holds! It is nice to have friends that care.

There was someone who used to be here who mentioned she collected angels. I remembered I had a lovely little glass angel and thought she should have it. I got her address, packed the angel very carefully, forked out for postage and it was on it's way. I didn't hear anything from this person so after a while I PM'd her to ask if she had received it. She had and said it sits on a ledge with her others. No thanks, no message of returned friendship ...nothin'. I was hurt and felt like a fool. I didn't have any great expectations but I did expect to be notified that it had arrived safely and to be thanked. Silly me.

That's great PQ, I had heard for years how a mylotter would get a card or package from another member. Surprisingly, as long as I been here, no one knows my address and I don't have an address for a member. I primarily connect online, so I do have a few on my yahoo or FB, but that is as far as our relationship goes..

That is wonderful. No I never have received anything from anyone here on mylot. If I could afford it, I would definitely send something to my friends. But, as we are not well off it is out of the question. What a wonderful thing for people to share their lives with you.

Wow!! It's really good when we can get the friendship that far.(^^) Who knows the one who we never met can be our good friends as well. Anyway I never received nor give or sent anything. I love to have such friendship as well and I think I should take the first step now.(^^)

Yep. I share the same birthday too. I think it is wonderful to meet good people online. Sometimes they are hard to find in our immediate life. Hope you enjoy your gifts. I love Christmas. It is one of my favorite times of the year.

That's totally awesome, PQ! It's made me hungry. LOL I've actually put together a box of things for one myLotter (or former myLotter... haven't seen her or heard from her in forever it seems) but she kept moving so I was waiting to see when she's settle down in order to send the package. I've sent gifts through PayPal to a few who truly needed it, even though they weren't Christmas gifts. They were just needed. This year has, unfortunately, been an insane year for me and I've barely had time for myself, let alone get things together like Christmas cards. I actually have a few cards ready to be mailed but haven't made it to the post office (I need stamps) because of all the things that have been happening around here. (My kitty has kept me plenty busy for the past week with him being so sick, and my dogs for two weeks prior to that with itchy skin, probably from the heat being on. Whew!) I think it's really cool to find someone who shares a birthday. I've never met anyone here but have met 2 people in my life who share my birthday.

Pointless, indeed it is a great surprise and wonderful gift from your online friends. I think this year will be a wonderful Christmas for you, since you had received something special from your online friends. So far, i haven't receive any special gift from any online friends yet. Maybe because i am too busy with my own offline matters, so less communicate with them. But, i hope in future when i have more time to online, can have a very fruitful and meaningful friendship with my online friends. Yes, I did received gifts from a friend here in mylot. I received a package from other country where a mylotter friend lives. Another gift is coming and I have a friend here in my country who is also a mylotter who regularly give me gifts and so many things.

It's really nice to hear that you are really close with an online friends. Gifts are always act as a communicator to improve the bonds among friends. It's really tough to be close with online friends. I am so proud that you made virtual friendship as a real one. Hope and wish that your friendship will be like this for 1000 years.

That is nice. I do hope someone will give me gift this Christmas also. I have not received any gift for the past Christmas.

You are indeed lucky of the friends that you have here in Mylot. I haven't received any gift from my friends here since same as the others, I have no close friends here. I am just new to Mylot. Well anyway, congratulations for receiving gifts. :)

It is so nice. It sounds like that you really make good friends here. I haven't had real contacts from other Mylotters here. In fact I like to make friends with some of them in real life. It is always nice to have friends overseas since everything will be quite different. And it is very attractive. I love China

Mylot is a great place to make friends.I haven't received any gifts or sent any but have gotten & sent alot of greetings. I'm glad u have made such good friends on here. Hope u have a great christmas.

Hi PointlessQuestions, aren't you the blessed one. It is nice to have friends like that. You have to be a very special person. No I have never gotten any gifts or anything else from friends here at MyLot. I don't even know any of their addresses. I do have a few email addresses. I love and cherish their friendship though and I would like to say Merry Christmas to all of you.

Hello PQ, Its good to see that you have made many good friends here.I am not closed to any one of mylotter friend so i have never received any gift or sent any gift.But i like many of the friends here and hope would be able to make that bond more stronger with the time and have lots of closed friends with whom i would share gifts.

hi Pointless Questions who is this nice furry friend in your new avatar? I sent two small parcels out to friends here in mylot and hope they enjoy the stuff I picked for them, and wrote some e cards and snail mail to others. Unfortunately I dont have the address or e mails of some mylot friends so I cant send cards or small gifts to them.

It is very nice to hear that a friend from my lot sent you a gift. When the mylotter is sending a gift and sharing your birthday since last year, we can assume how much is the mylot is helpful in bonding the personal relationship.Since I am new and there is no friends in mylot it is all surprise to me.
