Even if you have matured, there is still that part of you who wants to play

Me and my classmates in high school had a chat and we were talking how mature our other classmates are acting and there are still some who still act very childish, and 1 statement really caught my attention. he said
"Even if you act maturely, or you think you have matured in anyway, there is still that part of you, hidden somewhere in your heart that, wants to go out, and PLAY"
So what's your take on this?

Agreed, sometimes I want to play with my friend like we used to be since we were in grade school but I just keep it to myself. I had a feeling not to, since I am old enough not to do child's play and it might be my embarassing moment of my life if I do that.

I definitely agree with that. It is true that we get matured by the time we get older but the childish part of our self still hidden in us. Doesn't matter how mature you act, sometimes you will want to act childish like doing some pranks, playing games or other, and many thing more. The difference is how much childish part is still hidden in each person. So i think, there are nothing wrong with that.

hello,
Yeah, that is true. because sometimes I experience this kind of feeling that I still want to play. ha ha even how funny it was? So, it is not just me? right? but of course I am not that childish because i know to myself that i am matured enough but like what I said I just found sometimes that I really want to play with my brother or even alone.

I agree with you davaome! Just like me! I am already 22 years of age, but I still want to play games with our neighbors who are 8 or 10 years of age. Even if we our old, there is still a part in our self that we are still a child.

I think there are people who will always play and people who never do. I also think men play way more as women do. Even as a kid boys are more allowed to play around as girls are.

I agree on that! I am seeing that everyday with my parents. And so in me and my brothers. We might get older in age, but our hearts didn't get old.

I think we all still have a little child still in us as for most it really is the best time of your life, it is when people forget about that child and only look at the mature side of things is when people become grumpy sad old people.

Then all of us should let our little child in our hearts to go out and play some times. it would also do us good if we prevent being grumpy during our old age

I most definitely agree. It's funny as my body gets older & I see the little changes here and there, on the inside I still feel like I did when I was a teenager. Granted I don't act like a teenager, but sometimes I miss being one. I will see them hanging out with their friends laughing & being silly & I miss that. I wish that we didn't have to act old just because we get old. Sometimes I miss being silly too.
