So I went to a movie last night, and I leanred that they are bringing Titanic back to the big screen. Hey, why not? It's a good movie, one of the highest grossing movies of all time. But they are bringing it back in 3D! I found this very odd. I would never want to see that movie in 3D! I'm just thinking about the heartbreaking second half. I don't want to see all that tragedy and death in 3D. It's sad enough and upsets me enough as it is. What about you guys, would you want to see Titanic in 3D?

Oh God NO! The Horror! lol. I had a part time job in my local cinema when this was released and it was the busiest I have ever seen the box office. The amount of cash this movie raked in was Scary! I am not a big fan of the movie but credit where credit it is due, making a box office smash of something that we all know how it ends. My Mam was obsessed by the Titanic and still is. I am not even going to mention to her that this is being released again in 3D

I like the movie just fine, I'm not obsessed with it, but it's a good movie to watch every once in a while. Is Titanic still the highest grossing movie ever, or did Avatar beat it? Awww you should take your mom to it in 3D It'd make a nice present! lol

Yeah I think Avatar too. I think it was "big news" that Avatar beat out Titanic. Oh I know you could handle the second half in 3D! lol. How do I know this?? Because you liked the ending of The Mist! That means you can handle anything! lol (Don't ask me where the logic in that is, because I don't know!)

It is a fine movie I was just overloaded with it at the time. I am sure I could manage the second half of it in 3D but I am sure you guessed that alrady lol. Of course I will bring my Mam to see it in 3D I am not sure which grossed more but I think Avatar has the edge, but I will look it up. But my momey is on Avatar

I wouldn't watch that in 3D the dark water especially it would remind me of some nightmares I used to have as a young child but that's just me. I'd rather Jumanji 3D if you remember that movie at all. very old http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113497/

I do remember Jumanji!!! I loved Jumanji, now that would be cool in 3D! It's not a depressing movie! I am still afraid of deep and/or dark water. I never swim in the ocean, or lakes, or rivers...I stick to my swimming pool! lol

I love that movie and just recently went to the Titanis in Pigeon Forge, TN. It breaks my heart also. I do not think it would really be appealing in 3D either.

Hello Lily, I don't know but the last titanic by Leonardo De Carpio was great that kept watching it when ever there aired it in some movie channels like HBO. Anything to make a great movie looking even greater for audience to see. I think that is another part of movie making, re-inventing itself, unfortunately it's more of a remakes now a days.

It's not a new Titanic movie, or a remake of it, it's the same original one. They are just bringing it "back to the silver screen." I just think seeing that movie in 3D would be too upsetting for me. One scene from the movie that I always think of is the man falling from the boat and hitting the propeller, esk! I would not want to see that in 3D I know what you mean by the "unfortunate remakes" lol. I wish they would come out with some new stuff!

That will be great. Titanic is one of my favorite movies. I watched it several times. It was a bit sad true to life movie. I had heard that it is the most expensive movie ever. If ever it will be transformed into 3-dimensional, I will surely watch it. I want to watch again those breathtaking scenes. Truly amazing and world class movie. It really deserves a big hand.

I really like the movie too, and I understand why some people would like it in 3D, but not me! I wouldn't like to see the second half in 3D (while I'm sure the first half would be amazing). Wasn't Titanic beat out by Avatar as the top grossing movie of all time?

Titanic is one of those movies which makes you glad that you've seen it, so you couldn't say that you missed out on it, but you wouldn't want to see over again. I put in Jurassic Park (and its sequels), The Aviator, The Departed (other Leo movies), etc. along with it -movies that are only good seeing once. So, I also wouldn't understand why there would be a 3D market/audience for it.

Hi Lily of the thorns: Should, I mean, Titanic is a very romantic and sad story. I remember when I first watch that film. It's very emotional and I'm sure I would enjoy to watch it once again but this time on 3D. ALVARO

I heard abut this too- I don't really know when they would show it. i am not very convinced about this since it is the exact same story, and idon't like 3D that much- it is not very good. But let's just wait and see if people will still see the movie, maybe youngsters can check it out since they haven't seen it yet. it's been more than a decade anyway.

Their basically bringing every movie back and making it in 3D. I dont know why their making such a big deal about 3D movies. There not that great. But most people want to see it in 3D to see the ship sink and see all the people fall into the water up close. Which i guys adds alittle bit of action for all the guys whos girlfriends are going to drag them along to watch the movie.Hahaha!
