This error message popped up more than five times whenever I log in to my netbook. I was wondering what it means that's why I took a screen shot of the whole message error. Based on the details, the desktop has been moved to a different location. I always shut down my netbook everytime the message popped up because almost all programs were missing. Just two or three weeks ago, the technician replaced the motherboard of this netbook. He advised me to back up my files because the hard disk will be no longer functioning after several weeks. He also advised me to properly shut down my netbook. Having it shut down manually for several times is the main reason why the hard disk is at risk.
Here are the details of the error message:
"Desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the info might have been moved to a different location."

I just deleted empty folder with my network name from user folder, but couldn't find the folder with the same name under system profile folder. And instead of copying and pasting my original desktop folder to system profile folder since my user folder than contain 30 GB of data. I just restarted my computer and it worked.

Yes, luckygrey67! I can't find any duplicate folder. I hope this fix will always work, restarting or shutting down. I am so worried because this netbook already has two motherboard replacements. I don't want any other replacements. It's so expensive.
