Thanks my friend for condoling with us here in the Philippines.
Though our place isn't affected by the typhoon, just like you my friend, i was shocked of what it has done to some of our fellow Filipinos in Mindanao, a far region from us. They were caught unaware by the flashfloods that was the result of the rivers that overflowed.
Now, the whole Philippines and even some countries are sending their donations. I just hope the suddenly homeless fellow Filipinos, can be given free shelters, where they can start life again.
Let's all pray for their recovery from the devastation...

Thank You! We are also hoping for the fast recovery of the affected areas here in our country. And it's so good to know that everyone is putting their hands together to help the victims. Let's continue to pray and help in any possible way we could. A lot of people need your help so please do donate to them, may it be goods, water or in cash for. All of them will be helpful. Even our university is gathering any kind of donations for the victims. Just hit the link for further information : https://www.facebook.com/delasalle.ph

I came to know of this through your discussions only. I wish the people in the affected area be rescued and they are safe.
I am not sure whether we have mylot members from that affected area also?

I feel so bad for this situation too, This is really such a heartbreaking event. How many days left before Christmas yet they are in a bad state. I've heard that the Typhoon killed 600 people. How I wish that their families would be strong.

Let us pray that the people who were affected by the storm would recover fast. Let us also include in our prayers that in time, they will be physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially stable. It may not happen that fast but let us just continue praying for all of them.

It's really sad, what happened to them. I couldn't imagine it. I am also from the same country and when they said it was signal number 2 here, we didn't feel it because it wasn't much. All the while, people there were really at their wits end surviving.
I hope that losses were minimal, but when I heard the news, it was really devastating knowing that Christmas is just around the corner. It's tough to lose a loved one this season (or any season for that matter).
I pray that somehow, there would be little happiness for the people living there. I'm glad our relatives there are all safe - though a lot of their property is truly beyond fixing this time.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

That's really one sad news especially at a season that's supposed to be happy. But thank you for condoling with our country. I personally appreciate it.
There are a lot of organizations spearheading fund raising activities for the victims. I hope people would find it in their hearts to share a bit of their blessings.
To all others, keep safe.
