I haven't made too many goals for next year so far but it's a start..
1. build up my business & promote it
2. declutter heaps more (the house I'm now in is smaller than where I was)
3. read more books (this is also to do with decluttering as I have more books i haven't read than i have read)
4. save for a deposit to buy a house.
I think these can be reachable goals as long as I put my mind to it - especially with the decluttering & saving.
Have you got any goals you'd like to reach in 2012?

After the destruction that I went through last year, I finally realize that I was not living my own life. So I have set some goals for myself, which will benefit me and me only. This list is not in any particular order.
1. Taking care of the most important person in my life right now--- me. I have spent too much time with everyone else and put myself last. This time, it is me first.
2. Have a successful year of school. Ever since I transferred, I have been dealing with serious personal problems which almost put me out of school.
3. Make myself bigger and stronger. Okay, so I am a big boy, who like lifting weights, but I just like that feeling of growing more muscle, getting bigger, stronger, and gaining weight. It's strange when everyone wants to lose weight and have thinner bodies, why would I want to make myself bigger and stronger. I like having the confidence that comes with being a big powerful guy, having the strength of a horse, and the appetite of a horse. My family looks down on my weightlifting, and quest to put on size, muscle, and weight, but that's okay. I am doing this for me.
4. Get a girlfriend. Because I have been doing things for so many other people, I didn't really have much of a life myself. All of my friends are in some type of relationship. I am not doing it to keep pace with them, rather I am searching because I am tired of being alone. I have tried dating before, but my family always criticize me for it. I don't know why they would want to hold me back. It is bound to happen. They are going to have to deal with it.
5. Distance myself from my family. Right now, I appreciate the help they have given me while I am working on getting myself back together, but I now realize that I am a different person than before, and the tolerance for my family has dropped some. It probably has come from the fact that I was living alone and was able to do things well on my own until I lost my job. But now that I see a climb out of the hole coming, I think it is best that I need to separate myself from my family a bit. Doesn't mean that I don't love them, but the will understand.

Well, my main Goal for 2012 is with my online and offline business. This is actually something that has really been my Dream of getting something successful going both online and offline, and eventually being able to quit working for someone else. My Goal for 2012 is to build the online/offline to at least around $1000 a month by end of July and $1500 or more by the end of the yr. I know in some ways this is really a long shot, but something that if I continue to stay focused will happen in time.

Hi moonchild,
All my goals for next year begin with "ifs". Although I certainly don´´t believe in mayan prophesies or ends of the world, my illness has made my goals shrink to the very near future. I don´t know much about what will happen before I have a new PET scan and that will be in February. So my far goals end on February.
All of them have to do with havingf fun. I´´m looking forward for Christmas and New Year and I hope I´´ll be in good shape to go somewhere nearby in January.
After February and a new appointment with the doctor, I will be able to give other answers to this questions.

I am feeling a lot better, so I am thinking of vacations. Not so far, relaxed and quiet, but vacations nevertheless. I could go after seeing the doctor in February. I don´t mind planning near goals. The importance lays in having fun now. My Christmas was great. I don´t know yet what will I do for New Year, but I will do something

I have some goals myself. I am hoping that I will actually keep these goals instead of giving up by the middle of February.
My goals:
1) To finish my education and start a second degree
2) To find a job so I can start saving up.
3)To make money online and save it.
4)To lose weight.
I wish you the best of luck with achieving your goals.

I wish I could add give up smoking to my list of goals but I don't think I'm ready to quit yet & we all know you have to be ready in yourself to be successful in quitting.

I haven't made very many goals myself either this year.
I'd love to build up my business more. Either that or find a part time job to supplement things (actually been working on both - i might have a 6 hour a week job in the evenings starting in February)
Get some of my debts paid off and put some money in my savings account and NOT have to dip into it. That's actually a little harder than one might think with a new business!
On that note...Decluttering and NOT purchasing things i dont need is also a goal. Use up what i have before i buy more.

Wow, only a few days left before we say hello to a brand new year-2012!
Here are the goals I'd like to achieve for 2012.
1. Stick to the budget. I have already plotted mine for 2012.
2. Start investing as early as Jan. 2. I attended a seminar this year about a product and looks like a good try.
3. Eat and live healthy-more fruits and vegetables, exercise more.
4. Read at least 1 book per month.
5. Start cross-stitching. Should complete half of the design by the end of the year.
That's it. Short and simple and achievable but still requires lots of hard work and perseverance .
Happy goal listing for 2012 and good luck to us all in our journey to achieving our goals!

i have`t set my goals for 2012 yet, but here is a good suggestion for you guys.
You goals should contains more details, not like read more books or something, but look at this, finish reading 5 books, then followed the books name. It`s better for you to achive your goals, i think

That's a good way to look at it but I have only said books in general because I own that many books that I have never read & I don't know where I am gonna start - probably with the trashy romance novels as I know I won't keep them & that means less clutter..
