Anybody ever try gather.com?

I found out about this site yesterday and thought I'd give it a try as another way to earn a few extra bucks. I'm a bit confused about the posting topics..do you just post news-type things or is it more like myLot?
I responded to a few posts and it seemed pretty neat. But the thing I don't like is how it takes forever to load things. I know myLot can be a bit slow every once in a while but gather.com took about a minute to get to some pages and it discouraged me from browsing some more and posting.
What are your experiences with gather.com and how much were you able to earn?

I'm a member thre but haven't signed in in over 3 years I guess. I don't like it. It's too dang slow to get points.

Yeah, it seems very slow to earn. I think I'll give it a one-week trial run and see how I end up liking it

I am trying this site. On December 4 2011 I reached 625 points and changed it to $10 paypal cash. It says it will pay in 30 days. I am waiting for it, I don't know if it pays or not. After they pay the money or at most January 4 2012 I would write the result.

Wow, 30 days is quite a long time to wait for payment. But maybe that's just the worst case scenario and it'll come sooner. I remember when I reached cashout for Opinion Outpost, they said it would take 30 days but I received it in about 2 weeks. Definitely let us know when they end up paying you, I'm curious.
