Why is it I feel so impatient when there's only 6 working days left?

Every time I wake up to go to work, I feel like dragging myself from bed. I just keep in mind that there's only 6 days remaining for my turnover. Then after this, I can be free doing what I love doing. I also have to keep in mind that if I don't come for work, I would be paying the company those 6 days left and I don't have source right now to be able to pay them. Thus, I am oblige to come to work.
I really feel impatient. I need to get through this so that I'll be totally free. Any advice friends?

Dear snowhybiscuis, six working hours is not a big deal as you concern, when ever you feel so, just thing about other people who use to work eight hours usual working time, and some other folks working over time approx. ten to twelve hour per day. combining aforesaid folks, you should be lucky that you only have to work six hours a day.
Do not get stressed, be cool. relax and try to enjoy your job. by enjoying your job, you will never know the time you have spend.

LOL . That is not 6 hours... that is 6 days. Anyway, thanks for the kind comment.
I will just endure this and not talk much so they will not notice my uneasiness.
Have a nice day!

You indeed make me laugh. My name is taken from one Chinese movie where the heroin was raised by wolves. I liked the story and the character so I copied it. She was raised by wolves in an Icy (snow) island. And the hybiscuis is a kind of flower. She's the flower in an icy island.

I guess because you want to start your freedom from work. I feel the same when I resigned from my previous company. I have less care on my job, I didn't take a problem to be a problem anymore. But there are lots of turn over things to do. I just feed all of them to my replacement.
Just think that that will be the last week your going to the office, last time to see your officemate and last seat on your table.

Hi laniekins.
Thanks for your suggestion. I would do that.
This weekend holiday, I listened to our preacher's teachings. I heard a lot of good things from him. He taught us patience and perseverance. I will keep that in mind and heart, and I'm sure I will be able to endure the remaining days for turnover.
Best regards to you.

I think you are really pressure now because you are eager to leave but please be patient, 6 days are not so long afterall if you do something like your hobby at home after work, so you will not put yourself too much attention to work. Good luck friend!

Hi wongchoiyee.
That's a very good advise. I will not think much with what is remaining with my work but instead, I'll think of the things that I want to do when I am out of here.
Thanks again and have a great day!

Hi, is there anything at/during work that might brighten your day? For example, a buddy who can share your burden? Or a lunch appointment which you can look forward to? Or an after work appointment with your friends or partner?
That's how I cope with the dreadful thoughts of going to work.

Hi too.
I can just look at my office mates whom I like and enjoy my last day spent with them. I am also looking at the direction that the company is heading and how was I able to help with it.
Thanks for the good suggestion. Have a nice day!!!

Don't worry, friend. It's very common for us to get excited before a holiday.Although you still have to work, now you can just encourage yourself by thinking,"holiday is just around the corner, and I would enjoy it soon,so no matter how tired these workdays would be,the nice holiday is just standing there waiting for me."And if you would keep this in your mind, you'll go through the busy workdays easily.Have a nice holiday!

Hi snowhybiscus .. As you are telling there are only six days left I advice you this.. Just for an instant forget that you have six more days to go before you are free..Instead think like this.. You have only six more days to be with your friends in this place before you move on to something you like.. Though you may not like your present work I am sure you have made friends here. Treat this as a last opportunity to have fun with them and I ma sure you will be motivated to work these last 6 days. Wishing you a great success in your new job..

Snowwhybiscuis, I would like to give you some direct inspiration
but I am not sure what going on...it may the fact that I am not
familiar with the phrase "turnover"..If you only have 6 more\
days left for work why not just go get it done.. and thats it..
Sorry I wish I could help more but I am just a little confused
But I hope everything will work out for you.
If its any boost...YOU CAN DO THIS...GO FOR IT AND GET IT DONE..
Have a wonderful holiday.....

Hi bjc66bjc.
Thanks for being kind. Turnover means I have to train, transfer my responsibilities and other accountability to my replacement.
It's just a few more days and I guess I just have to get busy and be over with this.
Thanks again and have a nice day.
