For the Nazi Germany people, Hitler was a great leader who brought them up from the ruins of the First World War defeat to become the strongest nation in Europe from 1933 to 1945. If you look at that from that perspective, then you are right. But I would rather have freedom to do what I want to do, go online to write whatever I feel like to write, to travel to wherever I want to go, rather than living in a country that was 'laid down a firm foundation for a thriving socialist country' by a great man where everything I want to do I will need to get approvals for.
