How building getting destroyed, man getting shot in the movies are made?

Hi to all. I have a question. We see in the movies people getting shot, buildings getting destroyed, vehicles getting burnt and many more..My question is how such scenes are made? Under which phase of movie production it is included in? Is it editing phase? For sure, they might be using softwares but what kind of softwares?

It's part of the original footage then they go back and edit t with technology also in the orginal footage they do the piarotechs with it. It's much easier when it's just cg everything but it takes skills and good camera angeling to get the right footage.
