A friend of mine approached me yesterday, seeking help for financial assistance in the amount of $4,000 for her to post a bail bond of her son who has been in jail for illegal possession of prohibited drugs and offered a Title of a certain lot as security for the money she would like to borrow. Since I know, that the government is seriously working to stop Drug Trafficking and Drug Pushing, it being a means to commit a crime, I refused and told her that I don't have that such huge amount for her to borrow. After that, she was mad at me and told me that I am not a true friend and told me further that she don't want me anymore to become her friend. I just ignore her and let her go. If you were on my shoes, will you able to grant her intention? Share with me your opinion, thanks.

I think when it comes to our kids, we have tunnel vision. I personally would not be mad at you and would understand. That is a lot of money. It would be for me anyway. Maybe she will come around and then maybe she has different views of what a friend is. i agree with you, I would not be able to help.

i did not meet this situation before.I usually choose to borrow the money to the ones when the total is small.i only want myself fell at ease.I think you confuse if it is right not borrowing the money to her,so you come here to seek people's opinion, right?
