Hi guys! Its almost Christmas and after that we will all say hello to year 2012. New years resolution has always been a trend in this season. Everybody wants to make it and end up not doing it. Ironic is it. Well for em its good as long as you make an effort to do it and not just say it. I don't really make new years resolution except for the time I was in school and was forced by teachers to make one.hahaha. Oh well I just wish that I will continue to grow as a person and be a better person as well and I will make an effort to do this . Are you making your new years resolution or not? Please share your views about this.tnx.;))

My view is that we really do not need a new year to make resolutions. We can take a look at yourself and make a change anytime. All you need is a strong mind, and nothing else.

I think events are a good time to take a resolution. These events increases the importance of resolution in our life. We should therefore try to make atleast one resolution on such big events. They dont need to be big. I personally make small resolutions that are small and can be easily fulfilled. This way helps me to increase my confidence and next time I could try making some big resolution. Well, Happy New Year in advance. Enjoy to the fullest.

I think the reason people make New Years resolution is because it's the dawn of a new year. People are more excited about making things happen in the upcoming year. As for me I don't wait till the new year to take action. This year the changes I urgently need just happen to fall in the beginning of 2012. These changes will change 2012 into a positive year for me. I'm looking forward to 2012 and leaving 2011 behind. The bad parts anyway! Happy Holidays!!

Hi! It has been a practice by everybody but the true essence of change is gone. You are right we can change anytime and not wait for 365 days to do that. I hope more people will change for the better. I also hope that you will be able to achieve the things you want to do for 2012.:))

I think we can do it EVERY DAY without waiting for the turn of the year. and I am more focused to live today - to be able to meet tomorrow and the days afterward. but it's clear that we need a plan for the future.

No, I think the entire blasted concept is completely and utterly cursed. Well maybe not cursed, but I think that a lot of people just make them, in an attempt to really feel like they accomplished something. Like they are going to do something. Of course one must wonder what they were waiting for the other three hundred and sixty five days during the year. At one time, I made them, but I just shuttled them right to the side. For some good manageable goals. That is just really something that is going to shine through. Goals is just something that a person needs to make, it will serve them correctly. they can be made at any time. Don't need to wait for the New Year and try and make something that you'll never keep.

hello eljayo! I don't believe in new years resolution because if a person really wants to change, he won't wait for a year to end just to change himself. In order to change, we have to start it within ourselves...having a motivation and a sense of purpose. Learning is an unending process and while there are changes in life, we are learning and it happens everyday, every hour, every minute or everywhere. So, I think that if one wants a change, the time is now. God bless my friend. mwahh!
