Anyone have their gallbladder removed... Need some advice..

Im getting my gallbladder removed 2 days after Christmas and im freakin out. I have an abundatce of gallstones, But my gallbladder itself looks okay so i dont need open surgery.. I'm getting the laprosictic (sp). Anyone have this procedure? The surgeon was very thorough in giving me details about the surgery.. My questions more as rely on those who have had it done. What they expierenced AFTER the surgery.. How long were you laid up for? when did you return to your normal routines? was it harder to eat after having your gallbladder removed? Did you gain weight? Lose weight? How painful was it? Was there any complications? Does your body function different now?? Those types of things.. You dont have to go into detail if you dont feel comfortable BUT any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm a stay at home mom an my husband is taking time off of work to take over my duties and im just trying to cover my bases here. I like to be as prepared as possible. Thank yoU!
