Difference Between LCD & Plasma TV?

LCDs: Don't put off as much heat, last longer under normal use, less problems with screen burn in my experience. The down side is a lower refresh rate and it might cost a little more if you want 1080p (blu-ray quality) display. Also if the actual screen may be a little more delicate.
Plasma: Usually shorter life span put off some heat. But usually has a better picture quality for the price.
Don't forget there's also LED. Which is by far the best right now, but will cost you several times as much for the same size tv because it's still new technology.
Make sure if you plan to use blu-ray you get a 1080p set. The bigger set you get the more you will notice the difference in quality between TVs.

Plasma TV is which can see clear in a very long distance, the LCD can not see as far as Plasma, Plasma also can see in different view angle.
