Building Friendships Online

Since i've started participating here in my lot, i'm not only earning extra income, but i'm also earning friends as well, i really consider them as friends eventhough i didn't meet them yet in personal or even though were just communicating here at my lot. Before i don't believe in long distance relationship or even relationship built thru electronic media like yahoo messenger or even text mate, but i guess sometimes we can really get some good friends even though we can't see them or get to know them personally..
Would you consider build a friendships or even relationship online? or have you ever experience have a relationship just online? share your points of view... Happy mylotting to all

wow i wish you consider me as one of your online friends cause i do consider you as one of mine... and i also wish that i could also go to your place or you at my place so we can meet personally... i've got a great time sharing almost everything with you here in mylot

Being able to build friendships online, even here in myLot is a good thing. Even though many times these can be with people that you will never meet, it does make one wonder about and care about someone. If you are a praying person you might even find yourself praying for them many times as well. Yes, there are many people on here I have come to know that I personally would consider a Friend, and some I would Love to eventually meet somehow as well. I believe true friendship can happen here, and be one to count on for many more yrs. to come.

its good to know that somehow somewhere there are lots of people who also believe that we could make true friendships online eventhough we are not so sure that we can meet this people personally someday atleast we consider them as one of our real friends.. thanks for the comment happy mylotting

I am not planning to create any serious friendship on internet. Because i hate chatting and consider it a waste of time. But I like to share info and my experiences and to help others via internet. This is my my definition of friendship on internet.

i could consider helping and sharing with others via net is a form of friendship, i am not also fond with chatting since most of the chatters are somehow flirty and others are only looking for online entertainment i wish you knew what i mean , but i could say that sharing discussion here in mylot can also make friendships online...

I don't really believe in romantic relationships online but i am fine with friendships :) And yes like you said, I have also made some really wonderful friends here. They are so positive and supportive I cannot stress that enough. It would be really wonderful to meet my mylot friends in real life :)

yeah i also agree that it would be nice meeting personally also my mylot friends but somehow i find it hard to came true since some of my friends here are from other countries but that's fine with me learning other nations culture and belief is a great opportunity already

There is nothing bad in forming friendship relationship online. You never know when or where you are going to get a good friend. I dont have many online friends here at mylot and im working on it but i have other sites i visit and i have good friends there who keep me company whenever im online. So there is nothing bad in having online friends.

I also have found good friends online. Yeah the internet is a great place because we can chat and share our emotions openly than when we see each other. But friends are normal friends. You can meet great friends also but when it is relationships, it is a problem. Because we can say anything, not only the truth.

i, very much agree that we can share all our feelings and emotions to our online friends that to our reality friends, i do share some of my full feelings here in mylot that i didn't share with my real friends... and yes we can't really always trust online relationship because we can say everything at its most perfect situation here without them, knowing if its all real or not

and it's also nice to meet people from different countries as well, i've got friends from other countries here, in which i also learned some of their culture and character, sometimes we also share good quality conversations..

Yeah mylot is a great place to knew new people there are few people I really like because they wise and not easily judge others people. I think you can be even be a celebrity here if so many people like you and maybe PMing you when you are not show up, isn't that great.
If making friend is not a problem but with relationship will not happen because I need the real person, not just nice and caring word from abroad.

Online friends are a good addition to my roster of friends. I rarely see my offline friends since they have their own lives to run and I have mine to do. Although I don't exactly welcome every potential online friends, it warms my heart that somebody took the initiative to be one of mine. I usually deal with online people with a great reservation becuase all people here are still, technically, anonymous.
I think I can build a friendship with these people, with the right time and enough interaction. Lately, I'm so warped with my issues and sometimes, it feels good to unburden myself not juts only to someone but to a whole community like Mylot as well.

yes its true that online friends are somehow still anonymous but sometimes in my case when i got to know or talk frequently with my online friends it makes me feel that i really knew them and sometimes i can speak up more of my frustrations and hatred with them than with my physical friends, in some online friends you will never bother if they will tell your stories to others or just maybe keep it by themselves, unlike some of your physical friends your stories might ended up with whom you really can't tell or know.
