My grand child attends daycare, now when he first started I was asked and I agreeded to pick him up everyday and take him home to his mother. This was just to help out for awhile because there wasn't anyone but me that was available at this time. So this was suppose to be temporarily. Now you know sometime we do things with groans, moans and complaints. I am only human you know My thing is this, now that it is the holidays there are a lot of vacations and closings this time of year or for the next 2 weeks I am not needed to do this. I have to admit that I am missing picking him up, it made my day to go to the daycare and play with the other kids there to mingle with them, I know everyone of them by there first name. And they seem to enjoy me coming in and playing with them singing little songs with them. Have you ever complained in the beginning about something just to end up enjoying it in the end? I miss my little friends.

Yes, I have also experienced like that. At first we are very hesitant doing it because we don't like to and we thinks it is a burden to our part. Later on you realize how enjoyable it is indeed but came to a point that it all ends there. I have been there that. All we have to do now is to cherish the memories we had during those times.

Oh I can understand how you feel, I love watching little kids and I seem to get on so well with them, some say I get down to their level and when you still have a bit of kid in you its a joy to be around kids, I love watching them learning and taking in everything, hopefully you will be able to do this little job again soon.

A lot of things are that way, but nothing specific comes to me right now. Little kids are a lot of fun and it is fun to remember the things we did with our own children.
