i need help or advise from antone who goes to modesto junior college!!!!!

Ok the thing is that i am supposed to be going to mjc in January, but i don't know if i have financial aid or not. I got an award letter but i didn't receive any money yet. How will i receive the money? I have the bogw-fee, and i registered for classes, but i think my account is frozen because i cant delete a class from my schedule. But what i was thinking about doing was applying to EOPS and waiting for the next semester. But will that mess up my financial aid and would i have to do the whole prosses over, like register for mjc, go to orientation again, etc? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
