Happy and Sad....

I felt so blessed especially this Christmas because I got promoted from my job. This has been my long time wish, and I guess all working people longed for a promotion and its just natural to be happy, all our efforts and hard work has been rewarded, after all. However, I my heart is empty or let me just say, I did not celebrate my promotion as much as I wanted. My heart refused to celebrate because of what had happened due to Bagyong Sendong. My heart bleeds for those who were affected by the typhoon. Many of my friends and relatives were affected. Though, am just equally glad that no lives were lost from my relatives.... News and updates is all over the radio, social networks, televisions, and everywhere. My heart is mourning, my heart bleeds for them... As a mother I could not imagine myself being in their situation, being away from my family and seeing my loved ones in a very depressing situation, worst knowing that they are gone.... May the Lord give them the strength and courage to move on. I am really crying while am writing here. My the Lord protects us all from any harm. And may this tragedy serves as a great lesson for everyone to take good care of our planet. This is the only planet we live in. So let us join hand in hand in protecting our wonderful planet. Thus, it will surely protect us all also.

First of all congratulations on your promotion. As to the devastation and lost lives that Sendong caused, the whole Philippines is mourning and sad for those people. In fact, a lot of people are into sending their used clothing and donations in kind thru LBC, which will send it to them for free. AT home, we plan to send some used clothing too. My daughter who is on Holiday vacation from school, also send money to Red Cross and so are we at the office. In this time of mourning the least that we could do is pray and send something , even the used ones to those places. And to commiserate also, i now decided that on Christmas we will just go to church and go home without eating at a restaurant this time, because it's my daughter's birthday. We will just eat what is prepared for noche buena. No need to buy for her birthday. I am sure, my daughter will agree because it's our small way of condoling with them also.

Thanks for congratulating me my friend. Thanks also for sharing some of what you have to the sendong victims. In our case, our family send some amount to our relatives in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City. In the Office, we didn't have our christmas party. Our fund intended for the Christmas party was donated to the victims. Thus, in some way or another we could extend our help to them. Prayer is also an important tool for this season.

Congratulations for you promotion.I'm also expecting some good news on the new year eve.Fingur crossed,Hope for the best. When i started reading this i was happy for you. As my reading going on i felt very bad for those affected peoples.I wish no one face this situation. And ofcourse you are right we have to learn lesson from this. Is it really our fault for these type of disasters? May be yes or may be not. Always take things positively because whatever happens, happen for good. But i guess we will never ever understand what's good behind this? Don't feel so bad.

Hello! You are right. Take good care of our environment. Take good care of our earth. Make the nature of the disaster to a minimum. These days I have paid attention to the Philippines "tropical storm" brings the trauma. My heart is very uncomfortable. I bless the victims. Pray for the goodness of the Lord, bless us all!

Congratulations on your promotion. You did a good job to be promoted. It is okay to celebrate as long as you don't forget to remember what happened to our fellow Filipinos in the Southern Part in the Philippines. I am also saddened to what happened to them. We all take part in helping out to them.
