Motivation is a moving force to achieve something. When a person wants to reach something he shows all his interest and actions. All his actions are energized by the motive of purpose. Motivation is a reason for which a person canalizes all his attention and energy. Motivation is animated by inspiration. Motivation conditions a person to move, think and act.
Maslow’s theory on motivation has assumed great popularity. According to his theory man has some hierarchical needs. He classifies them at five levels of need. He is very human . His hierarchy climbs from the base to the peak top. So the first level of needs can be found as physiological needs which are very fundamental that is food, shelter, safety, love, belonging , esteem and self realization.
A person will be centered in realizing his goal as long as he is motivated. The motivation of a person will endure as long as he derives great satisfaction from the motivation. If he meets the negative experience, sometimes he may put in more effort until he wins, he may alter his effort until he reaches his goal. To fulfill a motivation a person needs perseverance. He needs great conviction that the desired goal is very much necessary for him. But if he lives his life at pleasure, he may slowly give up his effort and slowly he may dwindle from his motivation.
Some persons may be are well motivated but they are not consistent. They do not wish to invest their energy, talents and other resources. So in theory they want but they are not ready to put in practical effort. Then it is inconsistent motivation. This style of proceeding may lead to lose the motivation but live mechanically the daily routine.
How to recover the lost motivation? Those who wish to recover their motivation, must examine what is the goal of their life. They must be attracted to achieve that goal. They have to come back to their consciousness. If they have someone to guide them then it is very easy. Counseling helps a lot to recover the motivation. Sometimes continuous practice of positive affirmations, is very helpful. There are psychological therapies . One of this therapy is neuro-linguistic programming of the mind.(NLP). Listening daily to subliminal hypno therapy music too is very helpful to recover the lost motivation. A series of Hypnotism practice too helps a lot. Programming the subconscious mind too work great many miracles. What is fundamentally required is that man must come to his consciousness and must be well aware of his goal in life and he must strongly desire to achieve it. He must read a lot on the concerned topic, he must get good advice from the counselors and he must exercise daily all his effort to reach mastery over a skill.

As I see it , most frustrations in life come out of being negative in ones outlook. The moment we become positive , it gives a totally different dimension to our whole approach towards life. Once you develop positivity , you become motivated and remain motivated...all the best and happy mylotting

Motivation is just an energy that make someone have desire to do something. If the motivation tendency was an material things, it won't be an eternal motivation. But, it was more lean to the "true" destination of life, then it will be closer to eternal motivation. So, it's our duty to find ours self.

These are some great details here. I lost my motivation and now I just blame my laziness. I know it isn't good to procrastinate and just hope that one day I can achieve what I want to but i just can't seem to push myself and put my thoughts into actions.
